With our current roster I can't see how we can improve our team enough in order to win more than 5 games next year. There's too many upgrades needed.

Playing the Raiders and Broncos twice this year helps

Cassel might help, but only a little (LOL) only a little ... he won't have time to pass.

Despite how poorly our O is playing. I do like their overall energy and "don't quit" attitude. That comes from coaching.
That will pay off down the road.

How are you still allowed to start threads? Do you have "pictures" of a mod and a goat, or what?

Yes, by all means you asshole, throw in the towel for next year already.

We wont be playing the Ravens defense every week, and Cassel will definetely make a difference IMO. And who knows, maybe we'll get better every week....

5 games after another whole offseason? I think that can easily be done.

They could play 10 or 15 exhibition games against some local middle schools.

We played a tough game at Baltimore without our QB and best defensive player, I'm not sure why anyone would meltdown about this. What did you expect?

This was a encouraging showing

This is 1963 you're talking about, he of the eternal 'Vermiel was just a defense away'

You know, like the old saw about my aunt and a pair of balls.

Overall as I said earlier I do see a change in the team's overall dynamic. We are not a very talented team, but props to Haley for getting all one can get from this roster.
We'll have to wait and see what the Haley factor will bring after an entire season and another off-season. I'm hoping it will take a team who should only win 5 games next season and turn it to a playoff team.

If that happens then not only will he be the NFL HC of the Year in 2010 but also we'll not to have to worry about filling the HC position for many years to come.

This may be a new record on the planet, which is saying something, because there's been a lot of dumbasses here in the last 9 years. Giving up on a season one game into the season prior.

It's like people don't realize this is the 2009 season and he's asking about the 2010 season. I don't think I've ever seen anything like this, I mean anything can happen in the NFL in one year. I still think we'll get 4-6 wins this season so why wouldn't we be better next year?

I gave up on 2009 shortly after the draft. After we let go TG and saw the woeful neglect of developing our O-line, I knew they were not realistically going to turn this franchise around after one off-season.
This season is just one big extended 2010 preseason. If you still can't see this then you might want to look in the mirror to see who is really the Dumbass.

Even if you have given up and this season your still a dumbass to give up on next season and say you don't know how we will win 5 games NEXT YEAR after one game into THIS YEAR. It's full retard to do so. There is an entire offseason to go, not to mention these guys with proper coaching might just *gasp* get better as the season goes on.

You didn't read my last post in this thread. I said I don't expect them to improve enough next year to win more than 5 games b/c of so many needs and a derth of playmakers. But I see true strength in our HC and I'm hoping he can do great things next off-season and make this team a playoff team next year even though they should only win 5 games with the current lack of talent on this roster.

2-3 offensive linemen and another good WR or TE would make all the difference. KC's defense needs better outside linebackers and a nosetackle, but getting the offense to stay on the field for half the game would do wonders for them, IMO.
