Probably not very many I don't see him throwing much and if he does probably the TE down the middle or RB swings.

i don't understand how he only threw 8 last year. he is probably the most inaccurate quarterback i have ever seen.

Well we wont be able to stop the run, or get any pass rush. So none?

Mecca

They let him throw safe passes and rely on the run thats how..

Watch their gameplan this week will be, run the ball, RB dumps the TE over the middle and the occasional play action deep ball.

I agree. He probably will throw around 20 passes. 17 of them will be off the mark, but fortunately for the fat man, his accuracy is so bad that he overthrows everyone by 10 yards.

If you want to be concerned about something, McFadden's speed is very concerning.

Our defense is kind of slow if he gets a hole and bursts through no one is going to catch him.

Cable doesn't seem like your typical Raiders coach in that he doesn't seem like a complete moron.

I would not be surprised if they just tried to pound the rock and Russell only threw when he had to. Maybe he ends up 7/15 for 100 yards.

368 attempts with a 6.6 ypa. Of his 198 completions, 72 were to the RB/FB and 56 more were to Miller.

I still say the Raiders should let him attempt some more bombs, if you can loosen a defense up at all with their WR speed and his arm their run game would open up more.

Last season against us at Arrowhead, he was 6 of 17 for 55 yards.

And we lost 23-8.

The problem is that they have to at least simulate a threat that it might be completed.

Right now, opponents know him chucking it deep is like trying to hit a squirrel with a howitzer from 25 yards away.

He did it in the last game and their WR's can fly...

Personally I'm more concerned with the idea of how the Chiefs can score on them, cause I'm not seeing it.

Hes only going to throw it 15 times.

7 of those passes wont be near anybody on offense or defense.
He'll complete 5 of his passes, 2 more will be incomplete, and he'll throw 1 pick.

I understand that. But until they can make it work somewhat consistently, nobody is gonna respect it. They'll take they're chances, knowing that, at least for now, it's only a 10% play. I mean it's not just that he's inaccurate, they have some fast guys that have trouble catching the ball.

Flowers will also be on the field this week. Carr and Flowers are much better duo than SD's. I think Legget is OK as a nickel as well, much better than as a starter.

We just need to figure out how to stop Miller.

1.

He can't actually get the ball close enough to a wideout to get picked. Further, he throws the ball so damn hard that it tends to just fly wildly out of bounds rather than be intercepted.

I'm not even being sarcastic here, JaMarcus Russell is literally too inaccurate to even be intercepted, IMO. It's why he had relatively few last year.

Indeed. My biggest concern with Herm was that he diffused the rivalries by: 1. Talking about how he grew up as a Raiders fan
2. Fielding and coaching a sad sack of now unemployed scrubs.

I love Haley, and I would give anything to be a fly on the wall for his pregame speech, or any speech he gives regarding the Raiders and what he dreams about doing to them.

Wells hes gone and Haley already has shown he cares a hell of alot more about the players and product on the field than Herm did...

Herm could sit in a padded room all day and just listen to himself talk.

I'm not disputing the stats themselves. But the sample size is downright hilarious.

You wanted to use his last 3 games to demonstrate that last week's game was an anomaly.

Let's take a look at the last 9 games (3x times your sample size) and you tell me where the anomaly is:

6 for 19, 31 yards, 0 TD, 1 INT
15 for 22, 156 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT
10 for 11, 152 yards, 0 TD, 0 INT
10 for 28, 132 yards, 0 TD, 0 INT
9 for 13, 68 yards, 0 TD, 2 INT
17 for 32, 242 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT
18 for 25, 236 yards, 2 TD, 0 INT
14 for 21, 148 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT

And then finally, the game you claimed was an anomaly:

12 for 30, 208 yards, 1 TD, 2 INT

Where's the anomaly again? ROFL
