Anyone have any recommendations for a flatbed photo scanner sub-$150? Don't have any desire for a fax or copier all-in-one thingy. Need a good scanner, and I tend to think when you mash everything into one product you end up have one machine that does three things OK rather one thing really well.

Negative scanner is not a necessity, but would be nice.

Looking closely at the Epson Perfection V300 | http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B001GBKTGM/ref=ord_cart_shr?_encoding=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&v=glance

Got a good review from PC World: http://pcworld.about.com/od/peripherals2/Epson-Perfection-V300-Photo-Sc.htm

I like the Epson Perfection series. I support a bunch of Espon Perfection V700s in several labs, and they've performed very well and haven't had any problems. I'll bet you'd be happy with that.
