View Full Version : Chiefs Teddy Bruschi picks Chiefs to beat Eagles...

... on NFL Live.

He had a lot of confidence in Matt Cassel. Could be rah-rah or could be someone who watched him practice and play all year.

Hope he's right!

Unfortunately Bruschi is a dumbass. I DO hope he's right, though! Dammit we need a win.

He might be the only one. If this were later in the year and the pickers needed to make up ground against their cohorts then more would pick the upset.

Now maybe I've had the stroke, but I can see that actually happening - I think the Lions have a MUCH better chance of beating the Skins than the Chiefs do the Eagles.

Don't get too big of a hard-on. He also picked the Pats against the Jets last week. He's just being a homer 'cause he likes Pioli, Vrabel, and Cassel.

Although, if you're gonna beat the Eagles in Philly, this is the time to do it. No McNabb, a gimpy Westbrook, and Dogkiller at QB. If DJ and Bowe and Cassel were all 100%, I'd like the Chiefs here.

Chiefs lose. Once again they likely keep it competitive for 50-55 minutes only to find a way to lose it in the end.

With DJ out and Bowe not 100% this would actually make me feel pretty good. If we can keep it close all the way through we might have a chance against some other teams this season. Improvement and progress on a game-to-game basis is what we should be focusing on.

Bradley and Wade have led the Chiefs in receiving yards the previous two games, they just don't catch TDs . I hope Bowe plays, he is a presence.

Is Kolb actually worth a fuck?

Aside from the talk this week on SC, I'll openly admit that I know very little about his ability to work the ball downfield.

With Philly's tools, I think this won't matter much this week, as I'd expect to see them attack the flats and the short middle--like OAK should have done.

I really don't know about Kolb.

His performance against the Saints defense would suggest he has game, however I don't think that Saints D is much better than the Chiefs D under Dick.

Agree. The Chiefs haven't even faced an "elite" QB yet ... Flacco picked us apart, but we we're tied late in the game. I'm more concerned about our Offense keeping us in the game if anything.

Although he's not "elite" now, I believe that Flacco will threaten this category as he continues to develop.

He's going to have a VERY successful career, someone Chiefs fans will look back upon and wonder, "Why didn't we take this guy?"

I don't know.

I think that Flacco, in only his second season, is developing nicely.

He didn't attempt as many passes against the Chargers as he did in the game against the Chiefs, but still put up solid numbers and was actually more efficient.

I think Flacco is going to prove to be better than some, if not most, expected him to be this year.

Improvement and progress on a game-to-game basis is what we should be focusing on.Doesn't matter with DJ because he's pissed Hailey off and doesn't really play much anyway. He sure as hell didn't help his cause by declaring himself out on a Wednesday for yet another no-surgery-needed injury. When this constantly happens with him the Chiefs have to question whether he's just a f***in pussy. All of these "have to take his word for it he's hurt" phantom injuries piss me off too.
