I realize that our o-line is the worst in the nfl, but i think its time to make the switch to charles.

larry is just too slow. he doesnt have the speed to hit the holes and charles is more versatile.i was a big larry supporter and i know its not his fault that he gets hit as soon as the ball hits his hands but i think charles gives us the best chance at getting some points.

Charles can't stay healthy from game to game and he can't take the punishment.

The Chiefs running backs, much like the rest of the team, suck ass.

no, he's not a every down back and he has some future worth

LJ is the sacrificial lamb for this abortion of a season.

nobody cares whether LJ gets smash, except goatboy.

It's hard to run the ball when you get hit in the back field on half the plays you get the ball. The other half there is nowhere to go!

There ARE no holes....Exactly...

Any time a back gets some room to run, it's misdirection.

Our O-line was just abused today. It's not on LJ.

I'm not saying he's great, but damn neither he or Cassel ever had a chance behind that line.

Charles didn't fumble today. That's a win for him.

Charles wouldn't do any better. He's a 3rd down/ change of pace back.

he was inpressive against the bucs last year

I'm beginning to think that Charles should start at QB against the Giants.

Our offensive line is so shitty whomever plays QB will probably be running for his life on every play anyway.

LJ has no heart but I doubt Charles would do any better over the course of a whole game.

he was inpressive against the bucs last yearI wouldn't hitch my wagon to him week in and week out. He's not built for that.

He can be great in certain situations, though.

Yes, I was thinking the same thing exactly. I think this would actually help our chances. Larry does look slow especially behind the LOS. :thumb:

And thanks for an actual productive thread instead of just a bashing one.

Let LJ get beat up this year and hope we can draft a good everydown RB next year.... Jahvid Best from Cal would look mighty good in a Chiefs Uni. as would CJ Spiller from Clemson

It'd help if we didn't give the ball to Larry every time he's in, or at least it seems like it. If I was the opposing defensive coordinator, I'd key on Larry every time he's in the game.

Let LJ's tears heal Bowe's hammy.

Hell yes he should start. We should not even try to run off the center and guards. Throw him some tosses so he can use his speed to get to the outside.

Give him a shot what would it hurt?

I think they already do. Maybe trying Charles changes that? He may be smallish, but we've got to try something else. The whole league is wise to our limited strengths. JMHO:shrug:

LJ is sheer awesome perfection, and he is the starter.

Removing Goff and Newdookie might actually create running opportunities.
