I think most people looked at this seasons schedule and thought we would be 1-2 at this point. But generally speaking I thought our schedule was too front loaded and our teams development was going to be so backloaded, that we were going to have to win the bulk of our wins this year (however many that would) in the 2nd half of the schedule.

That said, what do you predict our record will be over the last 8 games of the season?

I think with out any significant injuries we have a real chance to win each of these games.

Then Cincy and Buffalo are better than you think. I think we'll go 3-5. But it's going to take something we didn't see yesterday. Improvement.

@Jax,@Oak, and Cleveland at home.

We have a 75-80% chance to win one of those three, IMO. Probably 40% or so to win two.

Cleveland at home will probably be the only game where we are favored for the rest of the year.

I don't find any of the other games on the schedule winnable, unless TO has a complete fucking meltdown and takes everything in Buffalo even deeper into hell.

I think with out any significant injuries we have a real chance to win each of these games. We always suck in Florida. Bills aren't that bad. And, as of right now, we would get clobbered in Cincy.

This team isn't wining a road game.

Cleveland at home is clearly our best chance.

No 0-8 option, eh?

That is a cupcake second half schedule when Denver comes back to earth. I'll take us once against Denver, CLE, and OAK.

Oops... yeah, that 2nd 8-0 option is well... screw it... go with the 0-9+ option instead. :)

Browns fans are looking at their schedule and claiming they have a great chance of beating the Chiefs.

And Elvis Dumbassville might be a touch excited to face KC.

I'm highly inclined to agree, but I will never rule out the ability of teams who have quit on their coach (Jax, for example) or ones with the worst QB alive (Oakland) to submit epic shitbombs than could overcome any amount of suck that we might be able to bring to the table.

As long as MJD doesn't quit on himself, the rest of the Jax situation is pretty irrelevant, IMO. I'm hopeful I'm not facing him in FF that week.

With Oakland, there is no way in fuck that Russell should be in the equation, so this will be an interesting indicator of whether the current OAK regime is as dumb as many of us suspect. Will they learn from the sack of shit gameplan they brought to KC?

That said, could we win one of these two games? Absolutely. But it would be the proverbial sunny dog's ass.

I voted 1 - 7 only because I could not find the 0 - 8 option.

I think we will lose at least 22 games this year.

I voted 5-3, but it might go higher. The Jags, Raiders, Bills, and Browns are all Ws. And I think they'll win at least one of the Broncos games. The only probable Ls are Pittsburgh, San Diego, and Denver on the road... and those last two are winnable, depending upon SD's injuries and if Denver has imploded by then.

This is obviously the soft part of our schedule. If we go 0-8 and don't win a game the first half then we deserve the monniker as worse than the 2008 Lions.

Bump for comparison.
