You get off the hook by sending a letter apologizing for their actions that gave a TD or a loss.

I have always wondered why they do not get younger more athletic guys. There are several athletes that do not make the cut that I am sure would like to stay in the game. They could have an academy they go through and pay they 50.000 grand a year. I am certain they would attract top flight talent. These guys would be better suited to keep up with the speed of the game. The officiating has been sub par for years and I think everyone is tired of the good old boy network of refs they use now
