Shouldn't the search of purpose, be the purpose of a person, whose search hasn't found a purpose yet?

The purpose is to be the first perfect person

Well if nobody is perfect, then practice does not make perfect. So no reason to practice. Somebody needs to take this logic to Haley, save the boys in red some sore muscles.

Shouldn't the search of purpose, be the purpose of a person, whose search hasn't found a purpose yet?

Perhaps, Mr. whoaskew, but that's not always the case.

All too often, the search of purpose is a personal search of persons whose purpose is to search.

For those who are interested, here is the full paragraph that I wrote which contains the question that I started this thread with:

Why do we settle for our limited definition of greatness? If you ask the average person who lives an average life, for an average amount of time, to tell you about their greatest achievment, they will give you an average answer. How can average be confused with great? If in the depths of our souls, we know that on a daily basis, we could achieve things that we would consider great using our own limited definition of greatness, why do we celebrate only achieving them once? Shouldn't we be ashamed for abusing our gifts, our blessings, by only using those gifts once? How dare some of us have the audacity to think we haven't been given any blessings, simply because we haven't taken the time to identify them yet. Shouldn't the search of purpose, be the purpose of a person, whose search hasn't found a purpose yet?
