If Detriot can beat them, cant we?

But I doubt we could hang on with Pittsburgh either. The Lions are better than us.

did you know that the .99 McDouble only has ONE slice of cheese vs. the, now $1.19 Double-cheeseburger, which has two slices?

I predict a team with an Indian-type name will win this contest.

The Chiefs may be in Washington this week, but it will be like a home game. I don't think the Redskins faithful will be getting behind Jim Zorn and his team Sunday.

The 4-1 Chiefs will host the undefeated Redskins at the Old Stadium this sunday. First year coach George Allen has made his "Over the Hill Gang" the talk of the NFL this season and this should be a real good test for both teams. Quarterback Billy Kilmer has a strong running game led by Larry Brown and Charlie Harraway and two good receivers in veterans Charlie Taylor and Roy Jefferson. Of course the Chiefs will be led by their star QB Len Dawson, running back Ed Podolak, and receiver Otis Taylor, not a mention one of leagues best defenses. This matchup is so good it be the National game on CBS. Ray Scott and Pat Summerall will be the announcers. It doesn't get any better than this!

We have a legit shot in this once. Washington is fucking god awful. They almost lost to the Rams at home.

Here's a weird tidbit on Washington... each team they have faced has entered the matchup with 0 wins. How crazy is that? The Lions and Panthers each earned their first wins against the Redskins.

So, KC definitely has a shot...

I think this game will be decided by whoever wins the Niswanger-Haynesworth matchup.

Niswanger vs. Haynesworth.

Niswanger.

vs.

Haynesworth.

Yeah, this'll be fun. I wonder if Haynesworth will actually throw Niswanger fast enough and high enough that he'll enter orbit. We'll be playing our backup center because Niswanger is floating in low earth orbit, unable to find the right re-entry angle.

Do the coaching staffs and players all exchange resumes before the kickoff, or at the end of the game?

ASHBURN, Va. (AP) - Washington Redskins left tackle Chris Samuels will miss next week's game against Kansas City, another blow to an already fragile offensive line.

The six-time Pro Bowler suffered a stinger early in Sunday's loss to Carolina.

Samuels had an MRI on Monday to determine the severity of his injury. Coach Jim Zorn said Samuels has "some tingling" and that Samuels needs time to "quiet this thing down."

The Redskins are already without right guard Randy Thomas, lost for the season with an arm injury.

For next week's game, the Redskins will rely on at least two linemen who didn't play in the league last season. With Samuels out, Washington managed only 198 yards total offense against the Panthers.
