I see two defensive players named Brandon. I say we keep drafting Brandons on defense till everyone of them is a Brandon.

No way! Mecca would be apoplectic. We'd have a Kansas player on the roster.

Not a big fan, This is in general a really really bad QB class.

Pike is from the spread, he's very tall but lanky and has been injury prone.

You know it's not a good QB year when your best QB prospects are Jimmy Clausen and Jake Locker.

That being the case, he still reminds me of Joe Flacco.

Tall, lean, good arm, and moves pretty well.

If I were in need of a QB, I'd take a 3rd round flyer on him.

Jake Locker is turning into a great QB. The only problem he's ever had is accuracy and it's greatly improving. It's shocking really. He'll be back next year though. The Angels drafted him in the 10th round of the draft and just gave him 3 million bucks.

His arm is nothing like Flacco's though and his injury problems concern me.

I'm not a huge fan of Locker, I see more of a great athlete than a great QB.

And I would've absolutely agreed with you up to this year. He's really turning into a field general. If you get a chance watch some games from this season. Sark is really having a good effect on this kid.

I'm not saying he can't do it but I wouldn't burn a top 10 pick on him, he's not remotely ready to play, he'd have to sit for atleast 2 years.

Oh fuck no. Not now. But, I'll be interested to see his progression through the rest of this year and next year. For one thing, he gets hurt all the time.

I've got to say though, I've always swore that accuracy could not be taught. Steve Sarkesian may be proving me wrong. Locker's accuracy is crazy better this year.

"9. Tim Tebow QB Florida 6-3 245 What position does he play? "

Who would take Tebow in the first round if he's not your QB? Is' he a game changing FB or S or TE? If someone takes him in the first, either they think he is a franchise QB or they are stupid.

None of the above. Chiefs must take Brandon Carter. Exactly the kind of O-lineman needed.

If the draft were tomorrow, I would take Suh with our top pick and slide Dorsey to the nose. Im not sure Ive seen a college dlinemen that was as dominant as Suh is. Very rare combo of talent, size, attitude and strength.

If the value is there, I select the top center, olb and right guard (or move Rudy their) with our next picks and even use lower choices to move up if possible to select a elite talent that may fall. Possibly a pass rusher.

A few key talented playmakers could make a world of difference

George Selvie would look damn good as an OLB in our scheme... doubt he drops to the top of the 2nd round though.

A real retard is one who reads without comprehension.

Eric Berry is a junior and Gretz said this list is seniors only.

That fact was pointed out earlier in this thread, a second opportunity to catch that.

Reading is fundamental.

Man so many good players out there, so few picks. :(

I'm not going to act like I've seen all these guys but of the guys I have seen, I like.

Suh - Always wins in 1 on 1 matchups and somtimes beats the double team.
Mayes - Freakish athletically.
Spikes - Man that's one mean ILB. Love that guy's game.
Cody - Is perfect for the NT position... Wonder if he's a Haley type of guy? You know how he is about keeping weight down.

On a side note:
- Nobody is going to draft Trent Williams that high to play RT.
- Saw that Tony Pike just the other day. If he's 226, I'm a rocked up 200. ;)... Guess he could be. He is pretty tall.
- I have no idea where Tim Tebow is going to end up playing on the next level.

I was a little :spock: about Stuckey being in there. I mean I really like the kid, but he really hasn't improved the secondary at all. If Arnaud doesn't miss a wide open pass ISU beats KU in Lawrence and they didn't do it on the ground.

Stuckey is a good player and will likely get drafted, but I wasn't seeing him as round one talent. The other thing is that he is listed in the KU media guide as 6-1 205, which is likely generous. He may be a bit undersized.

I could be wrong, but I don't see him up that high.

This. If we can fill a good amount of needs through free agency (or if this is a weak draft, where our low 2nd rounder looks like it won't net us a good player), I'd consider trying to trade up to pick him (assuming we'd need to).

I wonder about that, but if they do, I expect that's because they want him to be their QB. And that's fine.

WhyTF do we need to know about the TOP32? We need only know who the TOP 3 are cause chances are we won't be selecting anything less. ( I hope everyone' sarcasm meters are functional?)

Based on the last draft, we do need to know who the top 15 are.
