Two NFC teams, neither of which I can work up a good frothy hate for (e.g. Cowboys).

Not sure I care who wins.

Hmm.

Wait. '86 Bears.

Kill 'em, Atlanta.

That last catch by Johnny Knox was pretty damn nice in spite of teh fact that he couldn't stay in bounds.

He's starting to look like a pretty good 5th round pick.

But Sean Ryan has been surprisingly good as our recieving TE. I mean, I don't want to even try to imagine how much better TG would have been, but really, Ryan's been a nice surprise. Now, I'm overlooking his "blocking," but still, he's not our biggest weakness.

Couple of my picks from the '08 CP mock are playing pretty big roles today.

Forte, Decoud.

FUMBLE and Falcons recover

WilliamTheIrish
10-18-2009, 08:33 PM
There have been three great plays in this drive:

1) Cutler got whacked and loosed a floater that Des Clark twisted and adjusted and made a great catch.

2) Another great catch by Clark on 3rd down inside the two that resulted in a 1st down.

3) Forte getting whacked in the whole on a dive, losing the ball, but getting it back.

petegz28
10-18-2009, 08:33 PM
Wow, back-back fumbles on the goal line by the Bears. Atlanta's D stepped up there.

WilliamTheIrish
10-18-2009, 08:34 PM
Make that four

4) Forte fumbles again and loses it this time.

Coach
10-18-2009, 08:47 PM
That's a fumble.

Edit: Damn, Matt Ryan looks ass today.

Coach
10-18-2009, 08:49 PM
Cutler = Option QB.

Buck
10-18-2009, 08:50 PM
So why does a WR have to maintain possession after hitting the ground on a reception, but a Defensive guy doesn't have to on an INT?

IMO that should have been an Incomplete pass.

WilliamTheIrish
10-18-2009, 08:55 PM
What a toss to Olson by Cutler. Bears driving inside the 10 for tying score

Coach
10-18-2009, 08:58 PM
And Olson still can't catch the TD's.

Coach
10-18-2009, 09:02 PM
Touchdown, Bears.

Coach
10-18-2009, 09:05 PM
Oh my, a huge KO return for Atlanta, setting up excellent field position.

WilliamTheIrish
10-18-2009, 09:06 PM
Green blasts through 60 yards on the KO return. Ball on Chi 41. 5+ to play.

Coach
10-18-2009, 09:07 PM
Nice play by the Bear defender to fuck up Gonzo on that route. Forced Ryan to throw it away.

And Gonzo still is good.

If I was Chicago, (assuming they have TO's) I'd run a draw play here. Atlanta's DE's have their ears pinned back.
