Same for my condo and half of this development.

Give Bing maps a try - use the bird's eye view. I'm not sure why, but newer houses show up in the bird's eye view when they aren't in the satellite imagery. Plus, the bird's eye view is just kind of fun.

That's an example of super-zooming. You have to type in the zoom value in the url. The slider won't go in that close.

And there are few places you can actually zoom in that close.

That's not some random image, it's a famous watering hole in Chad.

That's an example of super-zooming. You have to type in the zoom value in the url. The slider won't go in that close.

And there are few places you can actually zoom in that close.

That's not some random image, it's a famous watering hole in Chad.
Not buyin' it. As you zoom out you can clearly see that image was placed there.

I think it is just because it is the middle of nowhere for the most part, and the shots around it aren't nearly as close...so you have to zoom out quite a ways to get to a point where things fit.

Kind of like when you see some pics of an area where there is snow, and then as you zoom out you get to a point where BOOM, no more snow and everything is green...you just get to a point where the landscape comes together in one image instead of the focus on one thing in the area.

I love to travel and visit landmarks. Once I made the trip to Boston and made it a point to check out Fenway. I drove around it like three or four times all the while trying to pay attention to traffic. I was like, "man, it's supposed to be right here!"

I finally stopped at a gas station and asked where the hell Fenway was because the map says it right here. The attendant laughed at me, pointed and said, "it's one block that way."

Needless to say, Fenway is not all that impressive from the outside. It blends in with all the old buildings in that section of town. It was disguised as a warehouse or manufacturing plant.
