My goodness I can not remember us playing so horribly

rock bottom was last year when we still had Carl and Herm.

Last week was the only week since the beginning of the 2008 season that I haven't said that exact phrase.
Each week, it's "it can't get any worse than this."

Terrible effort today. Charles whiff block on the blocked punt sums the day up for me. That's not coaching, that's a lack of effort pure and simple.

You can just stay at the bottom

I don't know about rock bottom, but the talent level on this team is pretty damned pathetic. I hope they go buy up a ton of mercenaries for the no cap year next year.

As sad as it is we could still get worse then the Rams.

Be patient we can make it their before season's end!

You really think so ? Or are you a carl and herm hater. This was beyond pathetic and we keep losing to division opponents at home.

Is their any way the Chiefs could get 53 picks in the draft or a combo of 53 FA's and picks?

the media are trying to get haley to go off. Not working just yet.

One would sure hope "this is rock bottom." I don't see how it could get much worse.

What FA agents would want to sign with us w/o overpaying them.

Hell overpay them. Anything is better than watching what we currently have.

That's funny...last year when the players fucked up, it was Herm's fault

In 1977 the Chiefs started 1 and 6 in Paul Wiggin's third year as coach. He was fired.

After going 1 and 6 they were 2 and 6 then ended up 2 and 14.

So they can reach a new low when they lose to Jacksonville after the bye, unless they lose the bye also.

Peterson and Herm are waiting patiently for the phone call to call them back. Only a matter of time.

Here's a screen shot from the TV broadcast with 11 minutes left in the fourth quarter. Maybe 10,000 people left at the game. Very sad how far our Arrowhead has fallen. I think we've lost 10 straight regular season games at home now.

I agree. This team is even less talented than last year.

I don't think that Clark Hunt cares. He has no passion for this team... he views the franchise as simply an investment, like a piece of real estate. I don't think how pathetic the Chiefs have become, 1990's Cincinnati Bengals-like affects him.

The worst record cinn had in the 90's was 3-13 so we have to improve to be cinn of the 90's.

I actually turned and watched NASCAR with 4 minutes left. I just coudlnt' stand it

I was in until the blocked punt for a TD... right about that time. Then it was fuck it, I've got better things to do then freeze and get soaked and watch bullshit on a field.

Never assume it can't get worse. It can always get worse. Rock bottom might be when other teams start giving us some players at the start of the game just to keep it interesting, or when other defenses start lining up on their goal line on every play just for fun.

There's a long way to go this year before rock bottom. We haven't even played Denver yet.

Um...if you mean DJ, that would be Dickie's last draft...

Herm drafted Tamba Hali, next year it was Bowe, next year it was Dorsey...

...just sayin...

They're a big reason why this team sucks as bad as it does. But honestly, I figured we would be 1-7 at the BYE, and would finish 2-14 again (without Haley taking any players off the street), so we're right where I thought we'd be.

I don't even watch anymore, Herm killed it for me. I just record the games and watch it during the week. The suckage is much easier to take in increments. By the time I finish watching, I'm laughing.

I'll prolly change my mind in a few days but as it is now I'm feeling like I really don't care if I catch another Chiefs game or not this season. I thought I might try to find another team from the NFC to get behind untill the Chiefs come out of this coma but my heart just into that either. In all my years as a Chiefs fan I have never felt this dismal about the team. Wish I had a beer I could cry into. :(
