1) Haley's billy badass act (and any coach's tough guy act for that matter) only works when you're winning. It's the fastest way to alienate a locker room if you're losing. I will honestly say i was one of LJ's biggest supporters. I even backed him this year saying it was the o-line's fault not entirely his. I said he gave it his all even though he clearly has lost a step. After this game is where i stop.

I have been to 2 games this year (at Bal, at Wash), two good run D's, so you could say even if the O-line blocked you would expect a mediocre game. I have watched the rest, and had better views of the play calling and blocking. At first you could make excuses. You could also say we are trying to run him out of the shotgun and on delays, even counters where his past talent suggests he blows, due to lack of speed, not being able to get a running start, etc.

Then there was yesterdays game, (and some the week before). The run play calling has been to his strengths. Tosses wide, blasts. Decent blocking, sometimes even holes to run through!

I even tried defending his lack of vision, saying he just doesn't cut back or see the holes because they either aren't there, or open up too late, or on the other side of the designed play...

I was wrong. He is done, finished.

Deactivate his ass the rest of the season. Let him ride the bench like DJ. Activate Kolby after the bye and give him 75% of the carries, and give Charles the rest.

Then if you feel Kolby isnt the answer, I would love to see us use one of our 2nd round picks (maybe too high based on our more pressing needs?) on an every down back that actually has something to prove, and wants to win, and wants to make plays.
