So some friends and I are taking a limo to the Springsteen concert tomorrow and we're curious if anyone knows what the general tipping rules are when doing such a thing.
Is it based on hours and total cost plus service etc?
Any feedback from those with any experience would be greatly appreciated.

15% of total fare. Depending on service go up or down from there. Also, check the paperwork...sometimes the tip is already figured into the bill.

Me and some buds had a limo for about 5-6 hours and nabbed a really good rate of about $80 an hour. Our total bill was like $440 or something and we tipped about $75. I don't know personally if that is fair, but that is what my friend said that knew a limo owner.

Sometimes I just forget to tip. I took a girl to dinner about a month ago and just....forgot. Last night I had dessert at chili's and didn't tip on a $5 bill (heh, cheap date, huh?). I mean to tip, I just...forget. Especially when I'm with a chick.
