Cancer Benefit Update

We now have the web site up that is linked to paypal for anyone wishing to make a donation. We realize that the economy is still slow and want to thank everyone who has expressed kindness and/or their generosity through donations or well wishes!

We have tried to make donating as easy as possible. Please take the time to visit the web site. We are also open to any suggestions to making the web site better so please PM me if you have any suggestions. Also we would greatly appreciate it if you could pass the link to other BB and or family/friends.

As we approach our first benefit (this Saturday) I would like to take a moment to again appeal to the Chiefsplanet faithful to take the time to visit the website set up to provide information and receive donations.

We have made some recent changes to the site to include adding a little more information. We really appreciate everyones kindness and generosity by taking the time to make donations and/or express well wishes to help the family make this a success.

We will be hosting a Cancer Benefit that includes a Soup Supper, Silent Auction, Raffle and Dance at the New London Lions Club on Saturday Nov 7.

Donations Accepted:

Adults $10
Couples $15
Child 4-12 $5
Child <3 Free

Schedule:

Meal: 4 - 7 pm
Auctions/Raffles: 4 - 7:30 pm
Dance: 9 - 12 pm

Also included will be Karaoke when band takes breaks.....so bring your best singing voice and show us what you've got.

If you are unable to attend and would like to donate to a worthy cause, please do so using any of the methods of donation outlined in the webpage. As always, we Thank You for your generosity and for taking the time to read this. If you're unable to attend or donate, please pass this information on to anyone you think may be interested.

The menu of food being served is as follows:

Chili
Vegetable Soup
Hot Dogs
Peanut Butter Sandwiches
Assorted Desserts
Tea, Lemonade and Coffee

The Raffle will consist of the following items:

Handmade Seamans Chest, tickets are $5 for one or 3 for $10

Handmade Queen Size Quilt, tickets are $2 for one or 6 for $10

A 50/50 drawing, tickets are $2 each or 6 for $10

The live auction will consist of the following items:

1) Boys 20 inch Bicycle
2) Girls 20 inch Bicycle
3) Baby Quilt
4) Rocking Horse
5) Photo Shoot

In addition to the above listed items, there will be other prizes given out throughout the night.

If you're able to make it out and support this great event, please do so. All are invited and welcome to attend.

And last but not least.....As with all events of this magnitude, all items listed above are subject to change. We could receive more donations and or food items that are not on list.
