Can the O-line improve enough to allow KC to win 6 games and go 7-9?

Can this team surprise us and finish strong the rest of the
Season?

Any hope left from any of planeteers?

I think the absolute best case (realistic?) scenerio is 7-9. But I really don't see that. I think 4-12 is more likely. And I will settle for nothing LESS than 3-13. We MUST end with a better record than last year.... well... at least for me to call this season anything but a complete epic failure.

the way i see it we have 3 games left that are for sure winnable games and 1 thats a maybe which is this next week at jax. the others are obviously:

at oakland
cleveland at home
buffalo at home

so we finish 5-11 at BEST

It sounds like everyone would be estatic if we go 7-9 or 6-3 the rest of the way. It will be a huge confidence builder for this team to accomplish this considering where we are right now. Most teams would give up. Haley needs this to establish credibility with his players.

we beat the Bills, Raiders and Cleveland

I think the bye week will help Haley finish installing his offense and we should be able to run a more diverse playbook for now on, if only in the slightest degree.

Between 4-5 wins IMO. We have a chance against the Bills, Faid, Cleveland, and we might be able to catch one other team by surprise. So either 4-12/5-11

I'm surprised at the doom and gloom. The Chiefs have proven time and time again that they're competitive against teams that are below average. It just so happens that the only bad team they've really played so far are the Redskins and the Raiders, and we should have won both of those.

Jacksonville and Buffalo are winnable games. Oakland and Cleveland are VERY winnable and I'd be shocked if we lost to Cleveland. And just a wild card, but we play Denver to close the season--the way things are looking, the Broncos are probably going to be clinched by then, so they'll probably be more interested in resting their players than winning. I think the Chiefs could easily win 4 games by season's end.

Surprise win will be the Steelers at home. It's a classic look ahead game for them as they have @ the Ravens after us and will have just played the Bengals at home.
We beat Jax next week and either the Bills or Browns at home.

Before the season I had the Chiefs going 3-13. I figured we would split with the Raiders, beat a team we shouldn't, and beat Cleveland. Still possible so I'll stick with that. But I feel since we blew the Raider game, that we'll only win 2 again.

There would be an investigation for rigging games if they went 6-3 after the bye. Mainly because there's not a shot in hell it happens.

I agree and would guess the same teams, but history has shown us as Chiefs fans that at least two of these sure-fire wins will be huge letdowns, hair-pulling, tooth grinding, angst ridden games where we scream about what happened and what did not. If the Chiefs do finish 5-11, then two of the wins will come against teams that look past them and try to give it away, ala Dallas, except that the Chiefs will suck a bit less and pull off the upset.

You didn't whip our ass last year. Jay Cutler had one of his Cutler days and had 2 picks and a fumble. Brandon Marshall fumbled. And Eddie Royal fumbled.

The game was still close at the end but Spencer Larsen dropped the onside kick and Larry Johnson had a meaningless TD.

Don't count on Denver turning the ball over 5 times to keep you guys in the game this year.

4 or 5 total wins I think. the opening schedule was brutal and everything was brand new.

I do think the running game will be better with no LJ. that alone should help keep the opposition from getting the ball so much. I HOPE
