Baseball fans doing it when the players aren't even doing it. High school teams grow out their high school wispy mustaches. It's silly. It's a hockey tradition and should stay there in my opinion.

... people doing it for no reason like this.

Perhaps you should check out Movember and you'd see that it is not "for no reason".

From http://us.movember.com/about/

A Mo Bro starts Movember – the month formerly known as November – clean shaven, and grows a moustache all month long, garnering support from friends and family in the form of donations. What’s more, a Mo Bro is a walking billboard for the cause as his new look opens the door for him to talk about cancers affecting men – making the moustache a symbol, much like the pink ribbon is for breast cancer.

This Movember, the money raised in the U.S. will be split between the Prostate Cancer Foundation and the Lance Armstrong Foundation.

I have not shaved since September 9th and can still get dates. In fact, I remember reading a while back that chest hair and beards are attracting more women in this economy as they perceive a man who possesses them as being more likely to provide them with security.

Of course, my beard comes in full. I assume that most women don't find the patchy beards that scream "I've got mange" to be all that appealing.

I've had a goatee for years, but just a patch on my chin - you can tell the hair is much longer there. Haven't had hair right above or below my lips since probably 2005. I thought it might come in a little salt-and-pepper, and unfortunately I was right, although it's weird how it seems to be targetting specific spots.

Final (?) product. Bob Dole may keep it awhile longer just to be annoying.

...lose the beard and keep the Wyatt Earp.

I'm not calling you a liar or anything, but I've yet to encounter an ass mustache that was anything other than acrid.

Fuck you guys.

I am mexican, of course I can grow a mustache, but as I said, no beard.

The lack of facial hair is sort of annoying, but whatever. I'll be a man some day.

I'll post a pic as soon as it sends from my cell phone.

I let mine grow all month and shaved it before I got a pic taken. It's still just as ugly as when I grew it out 23 years ago. No wonder my step-dad always made me shave.

My Novembeard turned out a lot more gray than I expected. Like I needed more proof that I'm old. I think I'm keeping it, though, at least until spring.

Just for men? Works for Emmitt! He shoots, he scores!

I did the No-shave nonsense. It worked out great. Had a sweet beard, then I decided that wasn't enough.

Went ahead and shaved myself a set of handlebars...but I had about 5 different chicks I know tell me to shave them, so after a good 10 days of handlebars, they're gone.

RIP Handlebars.

But I'm growing them back next month for sure.

Are your fucking glasses on upside down?
