On a side note, not exactly famous nor were they from KC, but rather Manhattan, Kansas, but there was a band called Truck Stop Love that was out at the same time as the Rainmakers. I used to listen to both of 'em a lot during the early 90's.

Paul Rudd from Gardner? I believe it was Shawnee. I live in Gardner, and I've never heard a word of him being from here. He was a Shawnee Mission West Viking. However, I would definitely welcome him being from here. By far one of my favorite actors.

Johnny Young Bosch was born in KC. He played the second black power ranger in the original series and was involved in a couple others as well.

didn't read the whole thread but Brenda Joyce was born in Excelsior.
She played "Jane" in the 1940's Tarzan movies opposite Johnny Weissmuller.

Alley was Wichita, along with Cynthia Sykes, Don Johnson, Vanna White. A buddy of mine, Bob Kelly, was on sopa operas for years.

Don Johnson is actually from Crane, MO, just south of Springfield.
