Neighbors always pissed if you don't rake that shit.

Just annoying and think of the waste it causes. Those leaves are like fertilizer yet no one uses them that way, right to the dump.

Makes me think about planting mullberry and apple trees.

I wouldn't suggest an apple tree... I have one and those fuggin' things drop rotten apples all over the place. Then when u try to rake and dispose of them, u will need to battle w/ fruit bees. I also have 2 mature silver maples. Along w/ dealing w/ the leaves in the Fall, I battle cleaning up those "helicopter" seedling things in the Spring. It's a real clusterfuk. Oh and I have 1 other tree, (I have no idea what that fugger is, but it drops huge leaves in early Fall and leaks sap all over our driveway/cars). I HATE FUGGIN' TREES!!! :cuss:

Edit: Oh and I have yet to rake any leaves this Fall. My neighbors can go to hell. They always have freshly manicured lawns and it makes me sick! But then again, they're all retired military and such so they have the time... I don't.

get some whitegas about 10 gal. of it. wait till just after dusk spread that gas all over your yard. go stand on the porch and drop a match.

Its the only way to take the yard back from invaders.

the last couple weeks, my uncle's been going out in the woods and raking leaves. brings them out in a wheelbarrow and putting them on the compost pile.

he doesn't have much to do, and likes to keep busy.

I'd give an awful lot to be able to have big healthy oak trees in my yard here in the valley of the sun(stroke).

I wish it would catch AIDS and walk into itself on fire.

dont even get me started. I have about 7 acres of lawn with red and white oaks all over the place. Burr oaks are the worst. Leaves are 9 or 10 inches long. I just keep mowing the grass until mid november, that way most of the leaves end up mulched in. Then I have another 16 acres of woods that blow all of those leaves around too. Never...Ending....Battle. Great in the summer though.

I hate the two oak trees in my front yard, they slowly lose their damn leaves all winter long, and they all end up in my garage somehow. I have to sweep it out every other friggin' day.

Just mow over them with the mulching mower. Free fertilizer.

Buy a mulching mower, with a bagger. No more raking. It's awesome.

Just use them as mulch. I mow over them once and then put the bagger on the mower and mow them again. Better than a blower mulcher.

Oak trees aren't that bad. Cottonwood when it sheds in the spring or Elms during the summer dripping their sap all over everything are much worse.

For the full mulberry experience you should purchase a new white vehicle and park close to the mulberry bush. I do not think they are trees.:D

Just find a way for it fall onto your neighbors property w/out an appearance of it being a dead tree or a known hazard. That'll show them. And they'll even have to pay for it.
