I guess flashing and roof leaks are not a big concern there. Good idea though.

So let me get this right..

A guy cuts holes in his roof to allow sunlight in to his otherwise dark house, plugs the hole up with a 2-liter coke bottle filled with water, and he's being treated like the second coming of T Ed? So uhh, what happens when it's not sunny out?

I've already headed to the grocery store and bought them out of 2-liter Dr. Pepper bottles.

I'm boarding up the windows and cutting holes in the roof currently.

I'm sure the wife will love it.
