This is easy:
1) Young ownership committed to winning
2) One of the hottest GM prospects ever is now in charge
3) A young, intense, driven, intelligent head coach with a solid pedigree
4) Very promising QB
5) Solid OLBs, DEs, and CBs
6) Great Punter and Kicker
7) Massive stockpile of draft picks

I know there are plenty of people around here that disagree with all of that, but that's because they have their heads so far up their asses all they can smell or see is crap.

11-07-2009, 11:06 AM
Some you are horrible!

No King C
Herm is not the coach
Cable is not the coach
Mangina is not the coach
Al is not the owner
STS went from worst to first
Cassel is in his prime. Fix the line a WR's and he will win games.
Despite what some of us think of Scott, he's one of the best and most respected football guys on the earth.
Haley has at least brought the attitude for winning. He doesn't accept excuses for bad play. That's why he buts heads wilth some of the players and Fatlock.
Brandon Flowers will be a plya in this league.
Dorsey is improving
Mays is gonna be a plya in this league
Bowe is getting better
We will have a high draft pick
The team at least plays hard. They don't play well most of the time and we don't have good players but they give 100%

PunkinDrublic

I think our run defense is definately flashing signs that they are getting better. I loved those goal line stands when we were able to stop LT from getting into the end zone. It wasn't just garbage time either SD wanted to get LT into the end zone to break a record and they were doing there damndest to get him to score.

We used our 7th to move up in last year's draft to get O'Connell, and I've read a couple of reports confirming that we gave up our 6th for Alleman/Ndukwe. And we gained a 5th by dealing Thigpen.

We will have another top five pick, and in a year where there might be a record amount of players that declare for the draft due to issues with the cba, we might get a player that would normally go in the mid-late first, at the top of the second. Each pick should get us a player higher than usual for that round.

Hold on, I forgot we suck at all things to due with the draft. It will probably be a massive fail. Hopefully, the scouts Pioli brought in know what they are doing and we all end up excited about how our draft went.

As someone who moved to the area in 2006, watching this Chiefs offense must be really hard for you guys who such a great offense from 2002 thru 2005. I remember a Chiefs-Patriots game at Foxboro in week 3 in 2002. The Patriots had just won the SB and all of a sudden this Chiefs team with Priest Holmes and Trent Green just lit it up. It took 16 catches from Troy Brown and a Vinatieri FG in OT to win it 38-35. I have that on tape I should watch it. It wrecked the Patriots. Brown got hurt and the Patriots their next 4. The Chiefs totally exposed the Patriots defensive weaknesses that year.
