View Full Version : Chiefs Um, are we the worst team after today?

Tampa has a 3 point lead with 2 minutes left.

If they get this 1 victory, are we then officially the worst in the league, or are the Browns still worse off than us?

UPDATE:

Tampa Bay beats Green Bay 38 to 28.

Upon further viewing of this game, Green Bays OL may in fact be as bad as the Chiefs.

I think we are barely better than Tampa, and Cleveland.

Maybe Cleveland.

We'll know for sure soon enough.

Did Josh Freeman play as well as his box score would indicate?

I seen a little bit of the game and he didn't play to bad.

Well his box score says 45.2% passing so idk how well that could be. Can't argue with the W and 3 TD's though.

I think the Browns and Rams are definitely worse. We're on par w/ TB, WAS, and DET.

The team that played for 56 minutes is the worst team in the league. The other 4 minutes, they looked almost good. It's no excuse though, the stink.

Yeah I forgot about the Rams...

I know our "O" line is bad but the play calling is equally as bad, if not worse. No screens, no slants, no deepballs on first down. Haley is almost doing Marty ball with no chance of success.

I never had a problem with Marty ball. Those were 10 good years........
Would have been nice to win a playoff game no doubt, but we played a lot of good ball back then.

Yeah, but Marty had the BEST "O" line in football and could run the ball-we don't and we can't

Ha I saw your neg rep thank you.I could care less about that 3 year old shit.Maybe you misunderstood what I meant in defending marty ball.I wasn't suggesting we play marty ball now,I just think its funny how some people throw marty ball out there like its something to be ashamed of or some kind of joke.He did the best he could with the teams he had,and we had a damn good defense and other teams hated playing in Arrowhead. Now its almost like we have no home field advantage playing here.Marty ball sure sounds good to me compared to this bullshit.

Yeah, and that TD-less win against Washington was one for the ages...

Well at least the Chiefs are able to score a couple of touchdowns here and there. Even if they are in garbage time. The Browns can't even do that right..

IMO we are better than St. Louis, Cleveland, and Washington. Possibly better than Tampa and Oakland but will call a push against those teams two right now. I think Detroit has a little better fire power than us right now so I give the advantage to them..

I'm defintely with you on Cleveland, though we'll know for sure in a few weeks.

I don't see how we stop Steven Jackson, personally.

Every team that has faced him (much better defenses than us, BTW) have put in the box to stop him, and he's still Top 5 in yards from scrimmage.

As far as the rest, Oakland has proven they are better.

I agree with your thoughts on Tampa and Detroit.

Last year, the Chiefs were horrid but could at least make it interesting before they lost, most games. This year, they're worse than the 2008 bunch, to the point of being unwatchable. Light at the end of the tunnel? It's an illusion.

Worst 3rd down team for sure.

This. 1st drive looked great. Get to 3rd and short and we PITCH the ball back. Then with inches to go, on the road, you kick a FG? Come ON Todd! Game was over right there.

I still think that if we line up against St. Louis we win, but we will never know this year. Oakland we dominated most of the game and they beat us because of two things. Two Cassel turnovers, and a prevent D in the final 2:00. I have not seen anything from them offensively, but that defense has potential so thats why I called the push.

Is there anyone left here who isn't grateful that Cleveland traded for the right to select Quinn immediately before the Chiefs' pick?

Nah, there will still be people who argue otherwise.

Now, another loss to Oakland and a loss to Cleveland at home?

The deal is done.

I watched Tampa Bay actually score touchdowns yesterday. I think that the Chiefs have less talent than the Bucs but the coaching might be a bit better. Buccaneers actually have a legit offensive line.

They ought to, they managed to go 9-7 last year with different coaches...
