Freeman has always had the size and tools, he just needed to get away from scary smart and get some solid coaching in the NFL. He'll be fine.

Holy shit, is it just me or do Freeman's mechanics scream Warren Moon?

EDIT - OMFG Ryan Sims gets the sack!

I thought he had more tools than Sanchez coming out. It will be interesting to see how he develops. He was the second most physically talented QB to come out this year behind Stafford... but that doesn't always translate to success.

Well I said at the beginning of the year that he was this draft's Roethlisberger.

He's awesome. Easily the best player in the NFL.

This x 100000. Freeman is a pretty smart guy with all the physical tools, but he had no coaching in his 3 years here in Manhattan (thanks to Uncle Ronald). I'm hoping the guy can become a superstar in Tampa, but he's obviously got a long way to go.

I am all for him, for a franchise that seems to be worse than ours and to be a fellow Kstater, I'm happy that he got that win yesterday. He's not an elite QB but if he's used right he'll be a capable one. I find it highly ironic that the buccaneers won a game finally in the uniforms they used to wear when they couldn't win anything.
