Perry done with fractured tibia

Starting Missouri senior wide receiver Jared Perry (http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/player/profile?playerId=191598) will miss the rest of the regular season with a slight fracture of his right tibia.
Perry's injury occurred in the second quarter of the Tigers' 38-12 victory over Kansas State.

Perry has produced 46 receptions for 696 yards and six touchdowns. His average of 69.60 receiving yards per game ranks eighth in the Big 12 and 45th in the NCAA. He also ranks among the top 10 in career receptions, receiving yards and touchdown receptions in school history.

Missouri team doctors hope that Perry possibly could return for a bowl game. The Tigers qualified for their fifth-straight bowl game with the Kansas State victory.

Perry will be replaced in the Tigers' receiving rotation by sophomores Jerrell Jackson (http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/player/profile?playerId=381370) and Brandon Gerau (http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/player/profile?playerId=377810).

That stinks. Never like to see a senior get a season-ending injury.
