Cassel and Lance Long go Sandlot Football on the big 3rd down and 9 play that went for 30 yards late in the 4th quarter. On my drive back home from the game listening to the post game on the radio Mitch, but it might have been Kendall Gammons, came on and said that he talked to Lance about the play. Lance said they kind of drew the play up in the huddle. Cassel told Lance if the safties do this run to this spot or if they do this get to this spot no route was said or even run. Thought it was interesting anyone else hear this?
Reminded me of the old games of pick up in the vacant lot.... OK Brian go to toward the water tower and break left, Jason go to the third tree and come back, Jeff run in a circle and then go long ........ Mike you um..... Mike you block that guy. Ok on 2 ............ Ahhh the good ol' days
