Some of my favorite moments: Mike Brown getting a hand on Roth's jersey and never letting go as three other Chiefs pile on. As an interior run play with Charles is stood up and refs start to blow the whistle, Brian Waters flies into the pile to push Charles forward, and starts a fight with a couple Stealers. Pope's block on the opening kickoff. Wade's block as Chambers races down the sideline. I love it when WRs block. Our rookie DEs starting to finally get their feet under themselves. Next year could be fun. The three Chiefs that sandwich Haley as Succop wins the game: Leonard Pope, Mike Cox, and Wallace Gilberry. Just in case you were wondering if Haley's had his team turn against him. Cassel's incredible toughness. That's the second game this year as an underdog that, after 58 minutes of getting clobbered, he leads a drive when he's given time. Only good things happen when other teams try to test Flowers. Derrick Johnson's rodeo sack. Derrick Johnson's rodeo sack. Derrick Johnson's rodeo sack. Best, sack, ever.

one sack and about 15 missed tackles and another 10 where he was out of position or took a bad angle.

Yeah, let there be little doubt that this is DJ's last season in the red and gold.

This was, I think, the most we've seen him play all year? Am I wrong about that?

Yeah, and he was exposed repeatedly. I think this is an instance of Haley giving a guy enough rope to hang himself.

I still think they should use DJ, as a pass rush specialist the rest of the season to see if he has any use at all. If we could pile up some sacks for him, we might even be able to get something for him.
He is so used to running around defenders, he might actually be able to get to the QB.

Yup. Never put the guy on the field if there's a chance he'd have to drop into coverage. He's a very specialized tool that you absolutely only use in the right situation. Use him in those situations, and limit his weaknesses, and he can contribute.
