Ladies and Gentlemen.

Start your Engines for the 2nd Lurker 500.

In this race of planet history, Lurkers, those with less than 100 posts per year of membership are challenged!

Myself, and other tenured members I shall designate will pose comments, statements or questions of Chiefs Planet History. Your job~your Challenge! is to explain the story behind the comment, link it to its originating poster....explain why its relevant or funny. Points will not be kept this year....but we will all be blessed with Fun and Learning!

How well do the lurkers know us? How versed are the lurkers in our history?

Along with your First answer, you should include 2-3 pieces of information about yourself(nothing personal) and your favorite CP thread and why.

Rep encouraged for those who answer with thought!

If Lurkers and low post count participants fuel this thread past 500 legitimate posts(no spam) I pledge to donate $100 to purchase clothing/coats for local kids in my area...and challenge others to do the same.

Who are the two transgendered individuals who have harbored homosexual sympathies in gay rights-gay marriage discussions in this site's Washington DC forum, prompting their own willing, if reluctant, confessions and stepping out of their closets???

(Please note: PAST tense....transgendered, not awaiting transgender status....as that could, legitimately confuse neophytes due to the presence of at least 2-3 other "potential/likely-to-soon-be" transgendered individuals.)

NTTAWWT, of course.

Refrigerators can be stealthy assassin's lurking in the dark. Only a shotgun to the face/door can take them out.

My favorite thread is the "Is Love Worth Losing Your Best Friend". A classic, not-what-it-seems-at-first-glance thread.

Another favorite was the whole Hel'n fiasco, but I'm pretty sure it's been deleted (probably for the best).

Your fridge should always be shot late at night with a pistol .45 cal I believe.
