Looks like the Chiefs made a couple moves:

Kolby Smith-RB- Chiefs Dec. 5 - 6:13 pm et

Chiefs placed RB Kolby Smith (ankle) on injured reserve, ending his season.
Jamaal Charles will close out 2009 as Kansas City's every-down back. Smith, who was injury prone at Louisville, has battled an assortment of knee and ankle injuries in his three years as a pro and holds a career YPC average of 3.3. He's certainly not a lock to make the Chiefs' roster next season.

Javarris Williams-RB- Chiefs Dec. 5 - 6:21 pm et

Chiefs signed RB Javarris Williams off their practice squad.
Williams, a seventh-round rookie out of Tennessee State, has an intriguing speed/size combination, but didn't look remotely NFL-ready in the preseason. He'll back up Jamaal Charles until Dantrell Savage gets healthy.

I'm confused, is Javarris Williams the new Kris Wilson or the new Jesse Haynes?

Anyone care to guess how many times Javarris gets to touch the ball? The football, not his own balls.

hope to see a lot outta j.williams this weekend. sure would be great to have him show some ability to be an adequate backup since he's one of the guys pioli drafted and so far pioli's drafting ability seems to be an improvement

Actually, it does matter.

With LJ we'd very likely be 1 an 9.

i wouldnt be surprised if he got 5-9 touches against denver, he timed well and seemed like a good pickup late in the draft, but im going to just hope he doesnt get hurt too

getting a RB hurt behind a o-line as bad as ours isnt a hard thing to do

That's too bad for Kolby. He seemed to have pretty decent running instincts during the period last year where he got the ball a lot.

The Bengals are four starters deep.

Charles gets hurt, Williams (will) "blowed" the place up, and we found our franchise RB. You heard it here first.

THE DEAL IS DONE!

It doesn't matter now anyway, we got rid of Larry so now it's the o-lines fault.

We all agree on that, right?
