Sunday evening through today I have had the most severe explosive diarrhea I've ever had in my life. The only thing I had to eat all day prior to onset were 2 dogs at Arrowhead.

I mean... this is some wicked stuff. I nearly coated every wall of the toilet bowl, water (or I hope it was water) splashing everywhere, and took damn near a half a roll of TP to get myself squared away.

DO NOT EAT THE HOT DOGS AT ARROWHEAD.

Sounds like Haley thinks the fans are fat now, too. A little explosive diarrhea and the Chiefs fanbase just lost 10,000 pounds in one day.

I thought about getting a hot dog, but I was too full from the beef rib tips in the parking lot...

Stadium food was okay back in 1995-ish. They changed vendors at some point and it has sucked every since.

I never buy anything from Arrowhead other than a ticket. Generally I don't even buy those.

What they charge for dogs, it should absolutely include a colon cleanse.

Oh crap, I lied, I had a bratwurst at the Metrodome one time, and it was pretty damn good.

The Pretzels are good. But honestly, how do you f*ck up a pretzel? BTW, the chicken strips are beyond terrible.

havent been to AH this year yet (a couple of us are gonna go to the browns game) but for the last few years I have shelled out $15 for one of these. To give a reference of size, in the bottom of the bucket its served in is a full potato quartered and to the side of the rib is a pickle. Delicious!

Only served on the club level.

I went to the A's game once with a friend. They paid my way i just had to drive their drunk asses (dodger fan) Anyways, i ordered some cheese fries there before and they were pretty damned good.

Thats probalby the only thing i have ate in a stadium. I usually eat before and after.

I usually get the beer shits after I go to a Chiefs game. That's probably because I drink enough PBR to kill a Rwandan village; to kill the pain of watching the Chiefs play.

I have friends who have worked there as fundraisers for various charities. They have basically said the stadiums breaks every rule of food prep and if it were a restaurant they'd be shut down.

I've eaten a grilled donkey pecker when I was travelling in China. I highly doubt a Stadium Tube Steak is going to effect my wrought iron belly.

Hey, I'm going to Beijing next summer! I'm really stoked, first time in the PRC. I won't be needing any restaurant suggestions from you, I must say...

Just Beijing, or to any other Provinces outside of there?

Beijing is VERY metropolitan - much more than I would have guessed the first time I was there (1998). I haven't been back since 2006, but have travelled around other parts of SE Asia.

The food.............I'm not a big fan once you get outside of Beijing, but it's tolerable for sure. I'm not sure how much authentic Chinese food you have had in your life, but it certainly won't resemble P.F. Changs! :D

Have a great time!

I have thought about adding a couple or 3 days in Shanghai. You think it would be worth it? Or do you have any other Provinces you'd recommend? All in all, I'm planning about 8-9 days total and I wouldn't mind seeing other areas that stand out, but Beijing is 1st and foremost the top of my list...

If your in the stadium, and want a beer, what other legal options do you have?

It may not have been the stadium food. Maybe you just have the flu, and happened to eat hot dogs the day it kicked in. I always have great food at the tailgate before I go in. I also have a real problem paying $8 for a beer, so I have my fill before I go in. Only thing I ever get at Arrowhead is a coke.

I had a friend that was a hot dog vendor at Royals Stadium. He said never to order a dog on the last couple days of a homestand, because they recycle everything that hadn't been sold earlier, and the food gets gnarley after a couple days.

Getting buzzed beforehand is a given, but who wants to let the buzz go for three plus hours?

Yeah, there are options based on your risk threshold. I like to drink beer, a lot, and just figure it is part of the cost of going to a game.

But the costs are getting out of line, no question about it.

I have a friend who several years ago went to a game with us. He drank heavily before and during the game. He also had I think three hot dogs at the stadium.

After the game, in the parking lot, he puked and then proclaimed, "It must have been that last hot dog."

Sure, buddy. I'll bet it wasn't the 47 beers you drank. :thumb:

I was drinking too but not overly excessively. I had two Monster drinks with a generous helping of 100 proof vodka. I was warm and buzzing when I walked into the stadium but that was all.
