We're in a recession and last week I missed out on tickets when I wanted to take my son & daughters to the game since they've been begging me.

They've been bugging me for the longest to go and that was one of their last wishes of last week. Every time they see the Chiefs on T.V. their faces just well up because they wish they were there. Oh the heartache[/playing on cp's emotions]

INdeed. Watching the game on TV, I was marveling at all the lower level seats that were empty. If I was up in the nosebleeds, I'd definitely go down at least at half time and get a better view of the suckage...I did that last season at the Raiduhrs game and got to see Tony catch a TD right in front of me. Pretty cool, in spite of the loss.

Well, talking about keeping the stadium red is one thing.. but IMHO that is the front office's job. I buy my season tickets every year and if they put a good product on the field Chiefs fans will buy my tickets when I can't use them... on the other hand if it's crap on the field, I'm not going to lose my ass (at least not more than I already do with that preseason crap) doing their job.

I would like to thank the Steelers and Cowboys fans for helping me to break even this year.. even after I couldn't give away the preseason games...

I actually shipped my Bills tickets to an address in Iowa, I'm pretty sure they were Chiefs fans. I think the only games I sold to non-chiefs fans this year were the Cowboys and Steeler games. Got over $500 for 3 tickets for both of those games though. Sorry, but money talks.

Hopefully the economy will get better, and my mom will start feeling better, and we will be able to make a few games a year again some day.
