Post those questions that you want to know the answer to but are too damn lazy to look it up for whatever reason. You know you have them. This could be like the random thoughts thread except it's not just random rambling.


My question: Do defensive players ever win the heisman? As far as I can remember it's always been an offensive player.



Hopefully my n00bness does not make this thread lose the little burst it has. :)

Unless you include Ernie Davis who played both RB and Linebacker, then yes, Woodson is the only one.

He did play some WR, but he was primarily a corner and returner.

He had 11 rushes and 25 catches at Michigan for 5 TD's. He was a defensive player.
