Prayer Request

My wife's cousin just found out she has cancer. It is in her lymph nodes, liver, uterus. She is covered in it. She is only 31 years old and has two kids, 10 and 8. She found this out the same day she filed for a divorce from a druggie and abusive husband. She is having a very tough time now. The children are the ones who are going to lose the most in this situation. We are praying for a miracle.

Absolutely. My niece, who is 34 with one kid, found out she has cancer for the 3rd time (stage 4) the week before Thanksgiving. We will pray for your cousin, her kids and your family.

Wow, that is a sad story, that lady has been dealt a very rough hand. It makes a lot of problems and issues we face, pale in comparison. Thoughts and prayers to her and the whole family.

First off thanks for all the prayers. To give you an update, she is still in the hospital. They are wanting to run some tests and do surgery. They don't think it will save her but should give her a bit more time. She basically is having to decide to have surgery and then be in the hospital for a while or live as long as she can at home with her kids. That is a tough descision and only one that she can make. The worst part is she is not a christian. We are trying to talk to her about it and explain the consequences of it. I think she may be coming around. So far I've been told that she is having a hard time not blaming God for this. Which, if I wasn't a christian already, would be pretty logical. We are going home this weekend to explain the book of Job.

Cancer is tough. Tell her to be strong and she'll pull through as long as she doesn't give up on her self. When it rains it pours unfortunatelly. But if we make it through we are all better people for it. Good luck to you guys and youre in my prayers.
