So JaMarcus Russell is essentially the 3rd string QB now? Wow.

We had our chance at him, but we have at least 61,000,000 reasons we didn't.

Is it bad when virtually any QB brought in is better than your 61 million dollar QB?ROFL

Remember that game against the Bills a few years ago where Losman only threw 2 good passes and beat us?

God that sucked.

He was decent in the UFL this year. He beat the undefeated Tuskers to win the UFL Championship.

Something tells me Russell goes somewhere where they know how to coach him and he turns out pretty decent.

wrong, J.P. Losman sucks. He was on the Vegas UFL team this year and I had the pleasure of booing him for three home games plus the championship game. We were calling for Tim Rattay if you can imagine that. Losman would hold onto the ball too long and take stupid sacks, ala Matt Cassell and he just didn't have the vision. We won the UFL superbowl despite the guy. The defense got several opportune turnovers. I didn't think there was a way in hell we'd win it with Losman, but we somehow pulled it out.

We would make a decent tight end for someone.

i wouldn't be surprised if Russell just takes the money and never plays football again.

I'm not sure his heart was ever really in it.

Losman is the forgoten man in the draft class that brought us She-Li, Burger and Rivers. The rest of the AFC West should be on alert.
The Raiders now pose a serious threat.

Sadly, this may be enough to get the Raiders two victories over the Chiefs next year. :(

Thats what I thought but he is so effing slow to begin with he can't read a defense fast enough and the game is way too fast for him....

I think he is dumb as a bag of hammers.... Rich but dumb...

I never want to see another QB drafted by the Raiders and prefer to take old discards from other teams anyday..

P.S. Thanks for Gannon

They've always posed a threat, but it's never been anything the men and women of law enforcement couldn't handle.

You are kidding I hope! This idiot couldn't spell cat if you spotted him the a and the t. Al Howard Hughes Davis watched film of him throwing a football 60 yards on his knees and it has been said he can throw a ball through a car wash without getting it wet. This made Davis see visions of Elway So batty Al got out the check book.

The problem is he would miss the car wash 9 out of 10 times, in fact this dipshit would only have a completion percentage of 40 percent throwing the ball in the ocean standing on the beach. To use a joke I have used a 100 times, he is brave as the rush will be coming and he will stand in there and throw the interception anyway. I hope someone signs this dump and I hope it is someone we play often. But I am not bitter~

I have watched this kid every game and snap he has ever played or thrown.
He is horribly inaccurate and uncomfortable as a NFL QB, he has absolutely no pocket presence, has no idea what a defense is doing, has no idea how to get rid of a ball when he knows the blitz is coming.

This is easily the biggest bust EVER in the NFL, Leaf isn't even a close second to this slug
