While you have your account open, you will see a game rental beta near the top, click on it and pick your games. You're money.

You do have to cancel, or your credit card will be charged after 28 days. IIRC they give you a week to return movies or games that you have out after you cancel. Don't be afraid to use your queue.

I haven't gotten a notice saying that anything has shipped but I have MWII right at the top of my queue, so I don't think that's accurate. Try adding a game to your cart.

If you signed up for this and don't want to pay for it, you should think about canceling it pretty soon. If you have movies out, you have a month to return them at no charge.

I signed up for these but unfortunately I was in a car accident and the games brock so they charged me 59.99 plus restocking fee. I was out 120 dollars.
