Hopefully Harris gets some run, but they should have cut Lance Long.

I assume Alleman is starting for Waters and Harris is the backup.

Long has at least done something on the field as opposed to Lawrence.

Been disappointed with the guy from the start.

Now if only they would cut Legget we would be Super Bowl bound.

:p

Hopefully that means Waters is hurt. I'm ready for Harris to lock down LG.

Alleman? On the left side?

I'd think if anything, it's Harris.

Although with these coaches, who really knows?

There are probably 20,000 guys who could do what Long does, run a 5 yard hitch on 3rd and 7 and drop 1/2 your targets.

Wow.

You're probably right. I'd just prefer they cut Long. I fucking hate that guy.

He's Wes Welker.

Without the talent.

I'd bet anything Haley is in love with him.

Watch him enter '10 as the starting slot WR.

The fact that the Chiefs actually run plays for Lance Long tells me all I need to know about this coaching staff.

Lawrence will be on the practice squad again.

Boomer Grigsby has more NFL talent than Lawrence does.

Lawrence is a scrub on a team full of scrubs.

Pretty much.

It was bad enough that they cut Mark Bradley out of the weekly game plan.

Then, they decided to eliminate Dwayne Bowe in favor of Bobby Wade and Lance Long.

And Haley said he had no "Sacred Cows".

Right.

Lance Long is a symbol of everything that is wrong with this regime.

He's a no-talent ass clown with no upside, who does "all the little things right" (except actually catching the fucking ball or making plays), and he only has a job because of rampant cronyism.

I might have been a bit more diplomatic, but I agree.

I'd rather play Harris and see what he's got, esp. since Milkman (IIRC) has said good things about him.

I just assumed the coaches would play the more experienced guy.

Dane was pretty high on him also. I'd also like to see if he has game against the big boys.

What happened to Savage? Who the fuck do we even have to carry the ball? Jesus. I think it is just Charles and Williams that are not broken or LJ, is that right?

I hoped Lawrence would work out. Fuck me the offense needs some speed really really badly.

I hoped Long would perform better also. And fuck anyone that bashes me. Just because I wanted him to work out, doesn't mean I thought he would work out or thought it was a good idea to bring him in. It's a long shot, but this team has so many fucking needs, that anyone who DOESN'T hope a long shot guy works out is rediculously stupid. If Long or Lawrence would have stepped up, that would be one position that wasn't so horrible that it is completely unacceptable.

Hopefully that means Waters is hurt. I'm ready for Harris to lock down LG.

I don't hope for anyone to be hurt, but Waters needs to be replaced and they might as well start the process now.

You know what I've learned, with the way the rules are today, if there is a position you need to invest money and high picks in it's WR.

Having a top flight WR changes the game more than anything today. Well other than QB of course.

Color of skin? Prior relationship?

Or complete and utter incompetence from the head coach?
