Every week the Kansas City Chiefs choose one lucky player from the opposing team and award him a career day performance. This award has helped many young players, and they all offer thanks to Clark Hunt and his organization.

"I would never be a full time starter without that day", says a teary eyed Miles Austin, "I thank Mike Brown everyday for what I am now."

"Well, me and the Kansas City defense had a conversation during half time", says the most recent recipient of the award, Jerome Harrison, "They drove a hard bargain, we agreed that it wouldn't be right that I get the rushing record, but they agreed to allow me to get within 10 yards of the record. The Chiefs are a first class organization, and any player would be lucky to play against them."

So, this week the Chiefs face the Cincinnati Bengals. Who will be the lucky player chosen to represent the award this week?

It would be truly hilarious if LJ were able to set the single-game rushing record against us.

It would be truly hilarious if LJ were to have his career ended this game by a blow from Tamba Hali.

The KC receiving corps as a whole has a case of the drops. They've dropped 47 passes collectively this year, four away from the NFL record of 51 ('95 Jets and '03 Lions).

- I don't know if this is true
But I read it on the internet

Just watching the games, I think that 47 is VERY conservative. I bet one could count up almost 60, it just depends on what exactly is counted as a drop. I say if it hits the hands of the receiver, its a drop.

47 is only averaging a little over 3 per game...NO WAY is that right.

Oakland has to be close. In fact they their opponents have dropped an NFL leading 23 interceptions...ok I made that last part up~
