well we played our worst half of the season by far, o well, winning on the road in the Valley is tough especially at a place like Ill State. We just need to take care of business at home this weekend

A lot of fans are terrible in their own ways. It's not just WSU.
Last time Wichita St. played in Springfield, one of the Shocks players was shoved by a Missouri St. fan. I think it can go without saying that you will find dipshits wherever you go.

It isn't more plentiful at WSU. There are plenty of jackasses around every stadium in the U.S.A. I however don't like to denigrate a whole group of fans because of the action of 1.

Great effort by the shocks, even tho we lost and are gonna end up taking 2nd, i do like how we match up with UNI, and I believe we are the better team.

Even tho, we played awful for the first 32 minutes, nice come back win, out scored in state 33-12 in the last 8 minutes to complete a 15 point come from behind victory. With sCUm lose to Missouri State we are 2 game up for 2nd place.

1981 was the best. The Shocks beat Iowa and KU beat Arizona at Henry Levitt in the regional, I was there for those games.
Then of course, WSU went on to beat KU in the "battle of New Orleans." 66-65 IIRC, thanks to Darnel Valentine missing a layup. :D

I hope all the teams from Kansas make the big dance but Wichita State will probably have to win their conference tourney if they want in because the selection committee likely won't take them based on their current body of work.
They really needed to win at Northern Iowa and Utah State (upcoming game) and not lost at Evansville.

That was a nice scrappy win last night, we just swept a good Missouri state team. I really do not know how they have a 7-8 record in valley play. They are one team I do not want any part of in St. Louis. I really believe next year the valley title will be between us and Missouri state.

both teams have had 2 very close games, the one in wichita was a 9 point victory and the one at UNI was a 3 point loss, i actually like how we match up with UNI, whatever happens tho, im very proud of my shocks.

Well that was disappointing, although it was nice to see them get back to the top in the tourney. Hopefully we have some takeways from this season and we can build on those. I wasnt really hoping for the NCAA Tourney...it would have been ugly most likely. Still proud of my Shocks!
