"Everytime hes is in he produces"?

He's been in the league for 5 years and barely produced anything until the second half of this game

People keep crying for a playmaker on defense. Who could have guessed we had a 1st round pick playmaker on the bench?

He's great when he makes plays. To bad it's only once or twice a game. Otherwise he's not that great.

Name one game he's played well this year, and justify it, other than this one.

He's never produced in any consistent way, he needs to be coached and/or get a change of scenery perhaps. There's no doubt as to his talent, but to say he always produces is ludicrous

Played like he was on crack.

He'd be great on a team where he was surrounded by playmakers that would cover up his mistakes.

If we are stuck with him next year he has to start. The guy has his shortcomings, but he's a playmaker and this defense needs all the playmakers they can get.

Meh, rather a guy who sticks to his assignment than freelances and gives up the big play. Demorrio Williams isn't a playmaker, but he sticks to his assignments. If you put a quality nose tackle in front of him, he'll be in a position to make plays a lot of the time, while DJ will be out of position half of the time.

DJ reminds me a lot of LaVar Arrington these days. His athleticism just wasn't worth the amount of mistakes he made.

You only notice when he produces. He's been invisible most of the year, it's not like he's been riding bench and not seeing the field.

Hopefully the next DC will want him and the light has turned on for him, because if he ever "gets it" he has the talent to be special...

I knew this was coming, Mr. KingPriest2. But, try this on for size ...

DJ is a somewhat lazy player who considered himself to be a star and wanted to freelance on the field. This was inconsistent with the coaching staff's requirements, the defensive scheme, and the responsibilities of the linebacking corp. So, he sat on the bench and played special teams until he got it through his thick skull that he had to play within the 3/4 scheme, maintain his discipline, and stick to his role. The result was two interceptions for touchdowns today.

How about that, maybe?

Demorrio makes ton of assignment mistakes as well. The guy is awful and his upside is nothing.

Derrick Johnson, when given playing time this year, has made more productive plays than all but 3 players on this entire defense.

Derrick Johnson isn't close to Lavar Arrington. That's just the fucking worst comparison I've ever seen.
