Better.

Best? Dunno.

I think we'll find they're both good and better coordinators than head coaches. Remains to be seen if they're the best on the market.

Can't see any way to knock having BOTH of them on this staff.
That would be MAJOR for this football team.

There are much, much worse things that could happen.

(Like, say, Pendergast and Gailey)

Or Pendergast and an already busy Haley?

I voted yes, but I'd also like to see the other possible candidates for the specified position

It doesn't matter now... THE DEAL IS ALREADY DONE!!!

They were spotted down on the plaza signing an apartment lease to be roommates together in one of the high rises.

This. I'm not a huge Charlie Weis fan, but considering everything Haley has on his plate, I'm all for letting another guy take the playcalling from him, although I'm willing to bet he's still at least a little involved in the playcalling. As for Romeo, I love it. I'd be very impressed if they're both on staff in the near future.

I voted "yay for Crennel, nay for Weis". Count me as one of the Patriots fans who was not that impressed with Weis's coaching job here. Fans complained about his lack of creativity (despite what some supposed Patriots fans who troll here might say). Weis got relieved of his coaching duties with the Jets, that's how "good" he is. He rode the coattails of Tom Brady, IMO.

Yay for both, although I'm a little curious about Weis...

I like Haleys dangerous playcalling... he just needs to be a little smarter on WHEN he chooses to use such plays. But I would give Weis a chance for 1 season.

Big YAY for Crennel, he is exactly what this defense needs: a coordinator with his experience and success running a 3-4 scheme.

I'm kind of meh on Weis though, although I will be fine with hiring him.

Send Haley packing and then get a different head coach who can likely work better with Crennel and Weis.

Well this is my pissed off reaction to how the season played out. But IF Haley learned from his mistakes, the Chiefs will be better for it and with the help of TWO experienced coordinators to help Haley - it just might be the ideal set up....

I don't mind either one, but better candidates might be available in the form of HCs getting fired this week and their coordinators. No rush. Naturally I didn't vote because the poll did not have the option of "better candidates available."

Haley doesn't strike me as a guy who can keep his finger out of the pie and not interfere with two coaches who are likely better coordinators than he is.

I would rather have a coordinator that is around for more than a year just to see what he brings. Look at the Redskins that seem to have a new coach or coordinator every year, they never get anywhere and people use the excuse of its a new system and it takes time to get use to it.

With that being said- I like Romeo and not sold on Weis yet.

I hear ya. I'm just trying to justify it in my mind because I know he's coming back.
