It probably isn't. I had a similar problem with a crank caller a few months ago. I'd call your provider and see if there's a way to block it. Don't know if that works with texts or not, though.

When you go to bed, set your phone to vibrate for text messages and put it on a towel or something so it won't wake you. Or just turn off the ringer for texts entirely. If somebody needs you in an emergency, they'll call, not text.
