View Full Version : Chiefs The Chiefs called me today to ask if I was going to renew my season tickets.

I told the guy that I am having a hard time renewing season tickets to a team that keeps losing. Four years is enough. I told him I did not want to go through the 70's and 80's again. He said he understands.

So if any if you would like to buy two lower level seats plus parking for each game let me know.

I think I am done with them after 20 years of being a season ticket holder.

This is good. Anybody who loves LJ dick should be a Raider or Donk fan.

I wonder if the Chiefs will wear a patch with your initials this year. That'd be kinda cool.

You should have said that you would reup if they signed LJ to a $60 million dollar contract.

KCbroncoHATER

It has nothing to do with LJ getting fired.

Thanks!

If you wait a month or so, they'll probably have a promotion where returning season ticket buyers get to play nose tackle for a series.

You should have at least waited to see if we draft a LT with our 1st rounder. If that happens you'll really be kicking yourself.

No I hear ya man. Just like any other place, business has to be earned. And with their product recently, I don't blame you.

It's not going to change.

They will not spend the money to field a winner.

They have spent the money to field a winner. They just haven't drafted or signed the right players to make it work.

Yep. Teams that don't want to spend typically spend around 4 million on coordinators.

You'll kick yourself this year for not being there. If I had the $$$ I'd buy those tickets in a heartbeat.

Wildcard birth, no doubt about it. They're going to turn the corner by week 3. Write it down.

Yeah ... sure.

If anyone wants them I will get them, but I am not going to keep paying to see crap.

I did this in the 70's and 80's.

20 year season ticket holder. 2009 - 20 = 1989. Sure you are not a 30-35 year ticket holder if you were there in the 70's and 80's?

KCbroncoHATER

I went to the games back then but I was not a STH in the 70's and 80's.

You could buy tickets back then for the price of parking, which was three dollars.

I do remember one season where I got in for free to every game.

Good time to get them. I was at a few of those games in the 70's and 80's. Probably been to around 12 or so in my lifetime. Was fortunate that one of those 12 was the DT 7 sack game.

Same. I rode over on a bus from Lawrence. It was 7th game I had ever been to in person. The Chiefs had lost the previous 6. Everyone on the bus knew this, as one of my friends let them in on that fact. Caught some serious crap on the way home that it was my fault.

And it's all this organization deserves until they start stock-piling PLAYERS.

You have had season tickets for the last 20 years and decided no to go this next year?

If they start winning, we will all know the reason they sucked balls for the last 20 years:

Coaches, players, ownership, and management. :)

I'm not able to understand anyone financial position or personal priorities, but any Chiefs season ticket holder that keeps his tickets during the waning Carl Peterson era and gives them up during the early years of the Scott Pioli years... is an idiot.

If the Chiefs offices had any idea that you are a complete and total dumb fuck, as we know here, they would have called to tell you they won't be renewing your season tix, because you are too fucking stupid to watch football.

You could show your loyalty to the chiefs by putting up $2300.00 and buy the tickets for next season from me.

Oh wait ... you would rather call someone names on the internet instead.

I understand now.

I would also have to buy air fare and rent hotels for each of those games.

I show my loyalty by buying NFL Sunday Ticket every season.
