When the Kansas City Chiefs (http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/teams/KAN) traded an "undisclosed draft pick" to the Miami Dolphins (http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/teams/MIA) for offensive linemen Andy Alleman (http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/players/19001/Andy_Alleman) and Ikechuku Ndukwe (http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/players/1414/Ikechuku_Ndukwe), it was reported/speculated/assumed that the compensation was a sixth round pick.

Six months later, it still hasn't been confirmed what, exactly, the pick was. In fact, ESPN's Tim Graham calls it "one of the great mysteries in the NFL (http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/10629/afc-east-mailbag-dropped-on-your-doormat)."

The Dolphins told Graham it wasn't their policy to reveal that information and the Chiefs declined Bill Williamson's request.

ESPN's John Clayton said it's the only 2009 trade details he's waiting on.
The NFL won't release the final draft order until April (still waiting on compensatory picks) so I imagine nothing will be "official" until then.
Of course we're dealing with Bill Parcells and son-in-law Scott Pioli so if they had an agreement not to disclose the pick -- and then one of them did open up about it -- it could make for an awkward family dinner.

Even if it's only a 7th round pick, they got the short end of the stick.

Had they made o-line a priority earlier, they wouldn't have had to panic and make this move at all. And they probably could've easily gotten one or both if they just chose to wait for them to be cut.
