Who?

I thought he was fucking terrible from day one. Clay and I got into it during all of last year's off-season.

He wasn't convinced until he saw his suckage on the field.

Clayton, you should put up a giff of him getting hurdled on the fg block. That is all you really need to see of him.

Uh...Pioli's actions suggested this, but I don't remember any of the "haters" claiming that Goff was a key acquisition.

That's what I was thinking. Either way, Pioli still looks bad......

If he was the key acquisition, then our key acquisition was a total failure.

If he wasn't the key acquisition, then Pioli still failed to protect his Cassel investment by overpaying for an injury-prone washed up scrub.

In no possible way can this be a positive on Pioli....

Look at it this way...Pioli can admit a mistake....Carl kept Sackintosh on far too long.

Yes that's exactly it.

Pioli made a bad signing. It was evident early on and we all knew it. At least he has the balls to admit he made a mistake and get rid of the guy.

It tells me that he's more concerned with making the team good rather than feeding his ego.

True, but we can't forget the suckage of Sean Ryan (blocking wise) as well. Goff, Ryan, and Ichy's play was quite disturbing.

Why did we cut our key FA acquisition from '09?
because they are showing the ability to learn from their mistakes.

are you going to bitch about that too? would you rather they kept Goff?

wait ... i got it.

You bitch if they keep Goff and you bitch if they cut Goff.

Of course not.

Clearly our evaluation year paid dividends.

In seriousness, my hope is that the new OC came in, watched some tape, and is now serving as the minister of common sense for the offense.

The guy lost his starting spot to injury. What a difference hiring competent coaches makes. I am waiting for the day when the coaches look at film of Niswanger.......

Even after missing time to injury and the line clearly improving with his absence, he still came back and started the next game before losing the remainder of the season to injury.

How's tricks K?

I'm still hopeful that Kolby can turn into something. Maybe not the complete package given his injury history, but a serviceable third down guy, maybe.

For a rebuilding, talent evaluation year as Piolio puts it, they sure started alot of broke dick vetrans that should not even be in the NFL. All the while, young talent just sat on the bench

Good to hear.

Young guys sat the bench.

I think young talent may be a misnomer.

You may be correct but, I still would have rather seen those younger guys for evaluation purposes instead of non-existant stop gaps playing. Especially at the o-line position.

Other than Albert being given another well deserved chance at LT, and W.Smith being versatile, I am at a loss at the rest of the positions at o-line. Would have like to see the younger guys play and see what they have.
If the Chiefs draft an OT with the first pick, I am gonna hurt someone...

Dude was the worst OG in Chiefs history. Regardless of what he did before he came here, I doubt that anyone has ever played the position worse.
