Impossible. The Chiefs are completely set at QB for the next decade. They aren't in the market at all in any way shape or form for a QB for any of the forseeable future.

It might come in handy next year during the lockout.

A little competition for Croyle (if tendered) and Gutierrez is fine with me. I think he was with Haley for a little bit in Arizona.
He sucks.
That Sugar Bowl really hurt his stock.

Yep, quite a shake-up we have going on here. Will we even recognize this team when 2010 kicks off?

I dunno, it seems like Haley pretty much loves Brodie...sure talked about him a lot at the end of the season, considering he's a backup.
I seem to remember reading last year something about how the Patriots always draft a QB every year, need or not. Maybe this is an extension of that idea, just bring guys into camp to force competition.
I hope we keep Brodie.

Agreed. Use to rave about the guy before he kept getting broken. Seems like he has stabalized in terms of injuries.

He really made progress. I figured he'd pull a muscle drinking a cup of gatorade or get frostbite standing on the sideline during the winter, but now he's an iron man folks ;)

No, I know the Patriots have gone in with as little as 2 (Brady and Cassel) and the Cards had 3 (Warner, Leinart, St. Peirre)
Remember though, we started the season with 4 last year until we ditched Thigpen

My very first thought was... 'Pioli isnt hedging his bet like i thought he would'.
I admire the stupidly tough situation Cassel stepped into, but i am nowhere near being sold on him... i've watched some very tough play, i've witnessed him chuck many tight 20 yard spirals, manage some clutch situations extremely well... i'm always a sucker for a 'bridesmaid' stories anyway... but,
With the 'right 53' in place, i definitely see Cassel as a game winning QB, a playoff QB... all of the desire/heart/patience qualities are there IMO... but a Super Bowl winner, with all of physical tools to knock'em dead time & again in the bigs?
My rosy glasses need cleaning.
