Not quite as glowing:

<table width="100%" border="0" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="0"><tbody><tr><td colspan="2" align="right">Height: 6-4¼ | Weight: 236 | 40-Time: 4.75 </td> </tr> <tr> <td valign="top" align="Center"> http://www.draftcountdown.com/headshots/qb/sambradford.jpg
Official Bio (http://www.soonersports.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/bradford_sam00.html)

http://www.draftcountdown.com/images/stars/four.gif </td> <td valign="top"> Strengths:
Prototypical height with a frame that is still filling out --- Very intelligent with a good feel for the game --- Extremely accurate --- Outstanding touch, timing and anticipation --- Quick delivery --- Consistently throws a pretty spiral --- Decent athleticism --- Nice footwork and moves well within in the pocket --- Shows great ball handling ability --- Makes good decisions and takes care of the ball --- Tough and will stand tall against the rush --- Calm and composed --- Very competitive --- A team leader both on and off of the field --- Excellent work ethic --- Super productive.

Weaknesses:
Durability is a huge concern --- Just average arm strength --- Mechanics are not textbook and drops down to three-quarters at times --- Will have to adjust to working from under center --- Must learn to read defenses and go through progressions in a pro style offense --- Does not have a good feel for pressure --- Won't make a lot of plays with his feet --- Limited experience --- Stats were inflated by a spread system.

Notes:
Was basically just a two-year starter for the Sooners --- Father, Kent, was an offensive lineman at Oklahoma in the late-1970's --- Citizen of the Cherokee tribe --- Won the Heisman Trophy, Davey O'Brien Award and Sammy Baugh Trophy in 2008 --- Earned 1st Team All-American Honors in 2008 --- Was named the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year and also took home 1st Team All-Conference honors in 2008 --- Led the Sooners to back-to-back Big 12 titles ('07 & '08) and an appearance in the BCS Championship game ('08) --- Set a number of NCAA and school records despite starting just 31 career games in college --- Would most likely have competed with Matthew Stafford to be the #1 overall pick in the 2009 NFL Draft but opted to return to school for another year of development --- Sprained the AC joint in his right (throwing) shoulder in the 2009 season opener --- Tried to come back after missing a couple of games but was reinjured and eventually underwent season-ending surgery in late-October that was performed by the renowned Dr. James Andrews --- Certainly has plenty of positive traits to get excited about but there are also a lot of unknowns and major question marks, including: 1) How will his arm respond after being surgically repaired? 2) Can his body hold up to the pounding it will have to endure at the next level? 3) Will he be able to adapt to a pro style offense or was he simply a product of Oklahoma's system that enabled other quarterbacks like Josh Heupel, Nate Hybl and Jason White to put up huge numbers as well? --- A highly-decorated, prolific signal caller with adequate physical tools and first-rate intangibles --- Could very easily emerge as a successful starter in the NFL but there are also serveral ominous warning signs that indicate a considerable bust factor.

Indeed. Dorsey was the best player in the draft. Jackson wasn't even the best at his position. Then the switch to the defense that has no components in place.

We'll see. They seem to like Bradford a lot, along with a lot of other scouts. I don't see it outside of the fact he's a "nice guy, can be a leader" along with playing in a Sooners system that has done a good job inflating random QBs stats.

If yes, go to userCP at the top of the screen and then go to edit avatar on the right side and go to the bottom and select browse and select the pic from your computer and then click save changes and there you are.

I went to UserCP. I keep on getting to the avatar screen but I can't find the browse option.

there are three boxes on that screen, your current avatar, predefined standard avatars and custom avatar. In the third box "custom avatar" is where you want to look, click use custom avatar and in that box are 2 options, one is to enter the url for the pic and the second is to upload from your computer and has a grey box labeled "browse" hit that and select your pic and hit upload.

then hit save changes at the bottom of the screen and you should be good to go (except for donating $5 minimum to the site ROFL)

Now, the first thing you should do is seek out a poster named Dane McCloud and start a argument with him and don't back down, no matter what...when you feel that you have finished there seek out a poster by the name of Hamas Jenkins, you should take an opposing stance with him on whatever he is saying and fight to the death...after that you should go ahead and start a new thread or two that cover stuff that you have just read here on CP...that will get you a lot of brownie points with the veteran members around here and will buy you some street cred of sorts.

Good luck nOOb, if you need further tips I will always be here to help just shoot me a PM!

Tall, intelligent, accurate, stands tall in the pocket, good leader, not great but good enough arm.....

Marginal arm strength
Serious durability concerns
Ominous warning signs.
Considerable bust potential
Doesn't know how to read a defense or go through progressions
Needs to learn to work from under center.

Reads exactly like Peyton Manning's scouting report to me

Peyton's arm strength is over-rated because he is so accurate nobody cares.

But anyways with so many questions marks one would think you would take me up on my offer and get rid of me forever. Especially considering the amazing season you claim Sanchez had last year.

To be honest, I like Jake Locker a lot. If there wasnt a Weis connection, I would likely be saying it would be better to wait till next year and draft mostly defense (save one possesion/slot receiver and a couple OL) this year

But Jake Locker didnt play our offense for three years in college and have an equal amount of experience being coached to be Charlies guy.

Even without the Weis connection, I think Clausen is a better prospect than the other QBs (save Locker) coming out next year...JMO

A high amount of people have said this and when that time comes, repeat the same stuff again. Everyone wants the league MVP QB, but nobody wants to deal with actually suffering through the shitstorm of getting one.

That exact thought is why the Rams are drafting #2 overall, again.

He's faster than Jackson, the Jones signing is for Charles to get a breather and split the carries nothing more. This is due to Jamaal not being a true workhorse RB, because he'll get killed if he doesn't have anyone to spell him.

I think before it's all said and done you will probably see Rivers and Ben mentioned as possible top 5 all time QB's as well. Rivers because of numbers and Ben because of titles.

I'm not putting Sam in the hall just yet either, but a SB and some great career passing numbers look very possible. I've said it before he was drafted and I'll say it again. IF he fulfills his potential I'm seeing Kurt Warner (The good version).

No, it's not.

The admission of "we fucked up" is when Tyson Jackson can't get on the field and is instead, beaten by a guy that last played in the UFL.

The Rams most certainly could have made a better decision with the #2 overall pick but he's at least producing on the field and holding his own at the position.

At the end of draft day, it isn't where you were picked, it's how much you contribute to the success of a football team.

The admission of "we ****ed up" is when Tyson Jackson can't get on the field and is instead, beaten by a guy that last played in the UFL.

The Rams most certainly could have made a better decision with the #2 overall pick but he's at least producing on the field and holding his own at the position.

At the end of draft day, it isn't where you were picked, it's how much you contribute to the success of a football team.

So Gallery was a good pick for the Raiders?

Big Cat, Smith played at RT his rookie year, BTW

Devaney has said that he doesn't give a shit if he messed up drafting Smith at LT. He's still producing at RT. And I don't give a shit either. As long as he's out there protecting Sam, I'll be as happy as can be.

I'm just not sure having the highest paid RT in football is what a team really wants in the grand scheme of things.

I don't think paying 3 top 2 overall draft choices is what a team really wants in the grand scheme of things either.

Right, with intentions of moving him over which they couldn't do.

Saffold pannig out as he did really saved their asses with the Smith pick.

No, but if one turns out to be a franchise QB then you live with it with a smile on your face.

Don't get me wrong, they will have a good line for years to come, but I wouldn't want a RT with the #3 pick anymore then I went a 3-4 d end at that spot.

What part of my previous post do you not understand?

I know you're functionally retarded, but JFC.

And at the end of the day, it really doesn't fucking matter, especially if the guy is a starter and solid contributor.

So many of you fucking guys that *think* you're smart, really don't get it.

They may be overpaying Smith but they're certainly underpaying Saffold.

In the end, all that matters is the results.

I understand that holding teams to the standard of the Tyson Jackson pick is a pretty damn low one.

Yes, it does matter when you are paying balls for a RT. Granted they got a steal in Saffold, but why can't you get a steal at RT also or should you accept that hey we f'd up here but we made up for it there mentality.

He transitioned well, and I was wrong about him. However, the overall thing you need to realize is that while bumping a "U R FAIL"-thread is fun and entertaining, once the laughter finally dies, you wake up and remember that the Chiefs are starting Matt Cassel as your Quarterback, and there's really no use in hoping for post-season success until he is mercifully removed from our lives.

PIOLI!
