i guess no salary cap isn't paying off for everyone

WR Derrick Mason's new deal in Baltimore: 2 years, $8 million, including $3.5 million in the first year.

Mason is pretty good for being so damn old

Seems like about what he's worth to me.

Seems like a good deal for both to me.

Ozzie Newsome doing his usual good job. Ravens receivers got a lot better the past few weeks.

Anquan Boldin, Derrick Mason, Donte Stallworth. That's a really nice trio of receivers, should make life a lot easier for Flacco.

They'll draft at least one receiver as well

I don't...I think you're looking at them going with Gresham if he falls there, if not expect defense.

Either a CB if Kyle Wilson is still there or even a Brian Price or maybe a Hughes or a Kindle, they could go many ways.

I disagree with nothing you said

At the beginning of last season they tried to do the whole high scoring offense thing and ran out of steam from lack of weapons I guess. I could see Gresham just as easily as a wideout

Yep.

Could go any number of ways now in the 1st or 2nd round. One of those picks will probably be a TE/WR, the other a defensive player at CB or OLB. Dline might be a sleeper choice we have some age creeping up there.

The only picks Ozzie has ever missed on is WR(and a Qb but that is not an option) in the first so you can probably rule that out. If there is value in the 2nd they could go that way and give him a redshirt year.

Can't wait to see what Mason can do single covered. He has seen double teams for 4 years straight and still managed to put up 1,000 plus every time.

the Ravens may be very dangerous next season, more so than they have been.

BAL needs secondary help.
