I wish we could change it permanently. I hate this spring forward, fall back crap. And yes, two hours would be fine with me. I love the stuff.

Yes.

I think people in the Midwest would be alot happier and would drink less.
Probably other places too but I don't live there.

The later the sun goes down, the better, IMO. I don't care about the morning because my ass is working anyway.

I had to explain to my old lady that DST did NOT add anymore daylight than was already allowed.
She thought god just awarded an extra hour of daylight i guess.

After work, yes. Start earlier, get off earlier. Enjoy the sun sort of thing.

I'd leave it an hour...it's hard enough to get my child to adjust to it this way.

I agree, move it forward 2 hours permanently.

Donger

I think it should be one hour in half the states (including Arizona and the indigenous peoples' lands) and then two hours in the other states rotating weekly and at random, just to make things interesting.

But we'd never get those two hours back. It would cause a singularity or something.

I'd say leave time alone and get the employers to just start work 2 hours early. Same result.

IIRC we did two hours one year. Had to wait until after 10:00 PM to watch fireworks.

I wish they would just set it and leave it. I hate being groggy for a week twice a year as my internal clock gets used to the time change.

I would like an extra hour of daylight in the afternoon in the winter. It's dark by the time I get home from work at 3:30. My wife, on the other hand, likes the extra time in the morning because, otherwise, the kids are waiting for the school bus in the dark.

In the summer, it stays light 'til 10:30 anyway, so I like it getting lighter earlier so that it isn't dark when I go to work at 4:30 AM.

I wish they'd leave it all alone and forget DST. It's light until 9:30 or so in June, and if the sun set at 8:30 instead, maybe it would be a few degrees cooler when I went to bed. I hated getting up while it was still dark this morning, and bumping into everything on the way to the bathroom.

Now, enough of this silly shit and get back to Jilly making out with the girl.

I love it and would be all for 2 hours instead of 1....and leave it that way the entire year.

Studies have shown less energy usage (obvious...street lights)....and less crime

As I'm further south (san diego).....even in mid-summer, the sun sets around 8:00 or so....so I miss the KC summer days where it's light out until 9 or so.

Of course, like a poster said earlier....if you live in the northern states...you're pushing the sundown to 10-11ish.

Either way...it's ridiculous to not just leave the extra hour of sun (at night) for the entire year.

It was probably just the "kissing a girl" part that was potent.

And I don't find much of a taste to vodka either. Just has that pure burning "rubbing alcohol" taste. (And, before you ask... c'mon. Everyone's tried it at least once, no?) :D
