Yeah, my midwest bracket is my weak link. With Georgetown, Ok State, and I went out on a limb and *incorrectly* had San Diego State beating Tennessee. Three games down the tubes right in a row, and had Georgetown moving to the Sweet 16. :(


My other few losses don't hurt too bad. Ended up with 25/32, and nobody other than Georgetown has been knocked out of my bracket that I have going to 16.

I'm having a good year so far. But G-Town busting in the 1st round killed me. I had them going to the elite 8. I also had UTEP in the sweet 16. The other 3 games I missed on I had the other team losing in the 2nd round so they're not too bad. I'm feeling pretty good so far.

That's the real question. I got 26/32, but more importantly have all sixteen left... I don't think I've ever had 16/16 after the first weekend. Maybe 15 once or twice, and several 14/16 and 13/16. :hmmm:

Same reason Georgetown is a 3 seed even though they went 10-8 in conference and was the only top 25 team with 10+ losses..... the media makes the mistake every year of seeing the Big East as "the toughest and deepest conference in the country" instead of top heavy and mediocre. It's just like the Big 10 (in both BB and FB).... teams play each other close based on style and not necessarily talent, so it's easy to confuse the 50/50 games with "if anyone can beat anyone, that means everyone is pretty good!"

Oh, and the east coast media sees them more often, and it's all ESPN talks about.

Every year it's hard to tell, but Nova lost quite a bit down the stretch... they weren't playing well. I have WVU and Syracuse in the FF, which scares the hell out of me.

I got 22...but it was a solid 22...losing 0 elite 8 teams and having Nova lose to Richmond so the St. Mary's game was huge for me...especially since I have Baylor going to the Final Four and I'll take them having to get through a 10 and 11 seed before facing off against Duke (probably)...

But I don't know how confident I am in Baylor, if at all...I kind of wish I just went with freaking Duke.
