Random question, but does any place other than Las Vegas allow open sports betting?

Online you can find some. Bodog is my personal favorite.

Aren't there pretty strict regulations on funding though? You can't use a domestic account, or something like that?

My friends and I were just sitting around watching some games and said how much fun it would be in Vagas right now. And then we started wondering why know one else allows sports books outside of Vegas. How much money could KC make by having sports gambling while the NCAA plays?

I'm not a big gambler my any means, but I'd go blow my money betting on games and drinking at a casino in town.

I use my bank debit card to fund my bodog account. No problems at all. And I get paid quickly from them as well. You can get a pretty nice real money bonus with a 1st time deposit too. Most places you have to get points to get to that money. Bodog gives it up, but you have to gamble the bonus money a few times through before you can just cash it out.

All banks have to report illegal online betting to some regulation agency. I don't know how well it is enforced, and what the extenuating circumstances are, but it's stupid either way.

It's funny because I just spent a lot of time in London and you'd walk down the street and there'd be a pharmacy, and a general store, and then a sports betting place. So weird.

But I was more wondering why casinos in KC don't set up like Las Vegas does? Why do they have a monopoly on the sports betting? I don't have a lost of interest in sitting in front of my computer betting, but I'd think it would be fun to take a group of friends to some place and watch games all night betting.

Not that I know of. I do know that Bodog uses multiple companies as internet service providers. The banks don't know that they're online casinos until someone charges back. Then they have to put up new fronts. It's a pretty sophisticated operation.

Never understood why you can bet on dogs and horses but not other sports. Foxwoods has a horse book that looks like the friggin' airport, and yet you can't bet on the major races or any other sports.
